Make your own GPS SMS Security Tracking System Vishva: SMTP over GSM 'was' a nice feature - but I think now it is deprecated. I have developed a GSM to SMTP bridge on Dialog Ideamart Telco APIs. But it is not at all popular. I think people no longer expect that kind of feature on their feature phones. It is like the Microsoft tab - never took off.

Very nice Scott. You Aussies will need to get your dev board with something like a SIM7000E or G or a newer and more expensive SIM7600SA or SA-H. They are out there. Good Luck and thanks Scott. Don't ever forget the big mofo chain concreted into the floor too.

Your problem might be gmail security. You explicitly need to enable unsafe clients or something like that. I also found out that this option sometimes turns itself of if unused for too long.
So i recommend simply using another mail server.

This project require more than one shock sensor. If you park motorbike on the street and all day will be very windy then you should get hundreds SMS with notification and after network limit SIM card number will be ban for time period.

Nice Simson, this vehicle was build in East Germany before the fall of the wall when I was a kid. Old and reliable technology, build to last and not planned obsolescence. On part of the good side in the Socialism block.

Did You know that the Arduino is absolutely unnecessary in this project? The SIM5320 module includes LUA programming platform and You can implement lot of functions without the need of external components!

Using double sided tape is a good idea to inform the thief that piece is not industrially made but added by the owner. It will be the first thing he rips out of the bike and get rid of it.

No one of your videos and ideas hasn't capability to be made at home. all of them need for special instrument. and your descriptions on videos are not useful. dont forget air of rear tire!

Without a WORKING SMS signal on 4G (3G is going away in 2022 and in the video he couldn't even get the 3G connection working, all the great add ons to the GPS module are useless!
