I dont quite get the idea of these videos, could someone explain why would you wanna make a projector when World is filled with projectors and you can get a decent used machine with few hundred. i mean these Arent free and if the

Way better idea is to use old overhead projector(like school ones) and old TFT monitor. Add active cooling and you got yourself a home theater with resolution that's not even available on the market!

make the case 3D printed next time and maybe give it an autofocus feature? (stepper motor moves lcd or lens with ballscrew and a distance sensor and math determine the position of the motor to focus)

Hey, try remaking this same thing now. I'd like to see it. And use wood instead of cardboard and make it a permanent setup. Nice work with the cardboard projector.
