MPPT VS PWM Solar Charge Controller

MPPT VS PWM Solar Charge Controller Mark: I find it funny when people compare quality based on the part location it was manufactured. Most stuff from other country's are cheaper based on what their currency is valued at. Because 30 years ago China was all rice fields their currency is still less than other devolved countrys.
All the components in your mppt controler were manufactured in China. Some one in the Netherlands may have assembled them but China builds all electronic components and there is nothing wrong with that.
I promise you the machines that build this equipment for sale for you or me do not know the difference in the made borders our species created. Products are built on a international level now unlike in 40 years ago.

Hi, i have 4 solar panels for a total of 400W, same specs (21V 5, 65A shortcircuit, but i've noticed something strange, if i connect in series (2 couple of parallel and in series, 42V 10A) or all 4 in parallel (21V 20A) i only have a total of 240W, the problem is not the cable because i try to shortcircuit in the back of panels or near the charger, same results.
The weird thing is that se single output panel when i shortcitcuit is 5A, but when i put all togheter i have only 3, 8A, same thing with real MPPT or cheap PWM.
Thank you very much if someone know how to help me: )

Something that you didn't mention is the main function of the MPPT is to vary the voltage or current in order to maximize the power generated depending on the temperature and irradiance of the PV panels. This is specially important during days with lots of clouds in the sky since partial shading of panels can really decrease the power generation if this is not compensated by an MPPT module.

Good video! I have no electricity in my summer house at all. So, I would like to use a solar charge controller for the 3s 5p 18650 lit-ion battery pack. Could you tell me which one to use with 10 A? Not in China now, but from Europe. Earlier I did orders in China. But, now it is prohibited. Thanks.

Funny you slam the china controllers like that. Last week my Victron 75/15 started smoking on my boat. So, in the future are you really sure you want to leave you garage unsupervised with a MPPT charge controller from. the Netherlands risking burning it all down?

What? A video on friday? Long story short, I will be going on vacation tomorrow and take a small break from producing videos. So this is basically the video for sunday. But don't be scared, there will probably be another video ready for the next sunday.

Using those load outputs is a terrible idea.
You have a 3000W inverter, so all load is going through tiny 2. 5 square mm wire. Most people attach thick wires directly to the battery and then into a 12V fuse panel.

You use mppt controller not pwm one controller is only pwm you make all fools but ok this take is original one 30 one is mppt I think so because in your other video you show it and tell mppt only25 one is pwm

It will get even more interesting if you try a cheap Chinese MPPT vs a Chinese PWM!
Thee question is: Is thee MPPT really an MPPT or just another. PWM with a different label (and slightly increased price?

If you don t have 100 euro for a good controller then better give up, no matter how good the batteries are they will be premature ruined plus they are not efficient and might catch fire
