Does Energy Harvesting make any sense! (Experiment) Crossfirearena: So, this is particularly interesting to me. I did an entire year long project with a major international contractor to focus on energy harvesting on rotor aircraft with Piezoelectrics. We figured out that it is technically possible, but the problem came down to cost and the rather low output power just due to the terrible efficiency of direct mechanical to electrical systems. Very cool video regardless!

For things like motors (including your washing machine) that rotate at a set frequency you could use a weight attached to two springs, setting it's natural resonance frequency to that of the washing machine. This would create a positive feedback moving the weight back and forward. If that weight was now a permanent magnet, and you surrounded the 'harvester' with a coil, you could generate an AC current. A bit more faff that a piezo disk, but would probably produce much more power. I guess such a harvesting device would be the exact opposite of mass-tuned damper.

I remember the days of the 3310s of Nokia where people would buy stickers with embedded LEDs in them, it will light up like an RGB device when there is strong radio wave I. e. when an sms or a call is received by the Nokia device. The tiny sticker also contains radio antenna (a zigsag pattern) and some tiny IC I suppose. Couldn't find one in the market now. But I know an America guy who added a headphone jack to his iPhone actually found a similar device in japan

Hey Greatscott, I got an idea for a diy or buy video.
I've been looking at AC air vent booster fans on Amazon and they're like 100 CAD. I was wondering if it would be possible and cheaper to make your own out of cheap 12v fans. These would also have to include a speed controller of some sort. Anyways let me know what you think, I think this is a great idea, especially for those of us who live in hot regions.

Did you know something about zero point energy, Cold fusion by Fleischmann-Pons, Stanley Meyer fuel cell And especially Don smith Device which is more related to your field.
Free energy is possible but The bigger businessmen Don't want the world to have it.
You are just in a box thinker you haven't tried free energy by yourself so please don't deceive people about secrets of science!

How about harvesting electrostatic energy from the atmosphere or the earth? I recall seeing an article where someone was able to harvest a tiny bit of energy using basically the atmosphere and earth -- static in the atmosphere would flow thru the harvester towards the ground, or something to that effect. Could you test things like that? Might be enough for an IoT device

A bedini Motor is Not)for free Energy, its for regenerating /Charge old lead Batteries.
There is a huge missunderstanding.
some people say they can Charge more mAh in the Batterie as the lable says. they sometimes call this free Energy, But it isnt. Its only more Batterie capacity. Nothing free.

I have got a question, which i didnt understand how to solve, so i am asking you.
12kw 12v for 10 mins should be supporting the device. So for this u can use two type
1. 0. 45ah 7. 4 V 0. 032 kg C 30
2. 7. 5 Ah 3. 6 V 0. 33 kg C 20
You can use as much batteries as u want.

3: 11 relatively cheap 2 + 25 shipping for a 1W panel, maybe not the best example, I mean even ignoring shipping you can find 1W panels for about 1 on aliexpress and even then just a small step up in power like 5W can still be had for a bit cheaper per watt these days.

About mechanical energy harvesting: i once saw an interesting but probably too expensive concept.
some sort of windmill generators in the middle of the highway, that would spin around because of traffic going both ways. Best for roads with a lot of cargo trucks
