Great Scott - loving the work - can't believe the price of those custom boards! I need a very similar board. It needs to be regulated, uninterrupted, and rectified. I have a 0-12v input with reverse polarity (model train) and need to convert to 5v 240mah output for fpv cam. Can you point me in the right direction? I don't think I have sufficient knowledge to design a circuit but more than willing to learn if you can recommend a site to start with.

great scott i need help
i bulilded 12 boards to take 4 TP4056 per board demanding 5V at 4A. I found a power supply 12v 62A. 750W. I am using 12 board needing 48A i can use a 6 buck (2 boards per buck)converters but my question is if the buck converter max A is 10A. but my PS Amperage input is 62. 4 A will this PS blow the bucks converters(with a max 10A rated)o can i use this power supply directly with any modification?
thanks

Have you got any chance looking at IP5303 IC for lipo charger and boost converter along with overcharge and discharge protection, everything in one single 8 pin IC. There is a module which is in market named as MH CD42, you can find that in Aliexpress. It's a guess even they are using IP5303 for that module, but not sure. It would be great if you could also investigate on this too.

Love your videos, I was actually gonna order this schematic from Easyeda, problem is that this video is over 2 years old and most of the parts are discontinued and there doesn't seem to be any suitable replacements. Maybe you could remake this video and also add 3. 3v output as well as up to 32v input? That would be awesome! And also make this suitable for many applications.

08: 17 exactly that is the reason I etch my stuff by myself, waiting a week to then figure out there was something wrong with my design and wasted 10 pcbs at once. Then redesigning and waiting one week again. Instead my whole etching process doesnt take longer than one hour so I can easily debug my circuit in one day: ) But if you have plenty of time and patience, why not.

You are awesome, thank you for your effort.
Can you teach us how to make the same board that reduces the voltage of 3. 7 or 4. 2 volts for the lithium battery to 3 volts constant. There are some electronic devices that work with two AA or AAA batteries. The simplest example is a TV remote control or an air conditioner remote control

Is possible to use FS312F and replace standard chip in 14S BMS from aliexpress, or do diy 14S BMS with this chip? I want to make mini laptop but just need discharge protection better then 2. 5v, then I would use step down to decrease voltage to 15-19v. Overcharge protection would be in charger so not much important.

hi. as i don't want do the solderring so i added this 2 module to make your circuit. one the tp4056 charging module with a mt3608 module, but when i try to power my pi3 with it the charge module drop the voltage to 1. 3v in middle of the boot. pi shuts down middle of the boot. What might be the case?

Hello Scott, i have a question, in the boost converter there is a ENable pin that could be used disable the boost and so the switch could be connected to it leaving the IN pin connected all the time to the Vbat, this way the small switch doesn't have to carry all the current of the boost converter
