Banana Pi VS Raspberry Pi Petr: I dont like Banana, because of the support from the manufacturer. Some bananas have great support from comunity, but others are. dead. Like RPI better even though it might be a little slower.

since the banana is armv7 and can run Android, it could be a baseplate of a new phone! just remove all I/O ports. if that's possible call it the BANANAPI_PHONE

One thing the raspberry Pi needs is a Sata or esata connector. I have 2 3tb harddrives from an old DVR and i want to use them with my Raspberry Pi

no pi 2 til' 2017? well, i'm sitting here with a pi 3 that i bought a few months ago. i guess they had some spare time to work on it.

Any thoughts about VPN performance? I wanna get dedicated server for OpenVPN only, no other crap.
Banana Pi seems to me is wise decision.
