Homemade PCB Etching (through hole parts) - Part 2 Zabih: The video is really great but while removing the paper I recommend not to remove it in soapy water. once I had done the same my board was ruined after etching. use normal water. some soaps have chemicals which might disturb the process of etching. this is my personal experience.
keep up the good work scott

I don't have printer and no expensive drilling machining.
I cut paper in a pattern to match the traces, then stick the paper on top of the copper laminate and spray paint it. Then i remove the paper and do the etching.
This works for smd.

I would like you to make a self balancing robot. It's pretty challenging as i have made it during my graduation. it took me a month to fine tune that. hope u would b able to take it

that's cool
I might not be a digital guru but still enjoyed it.
I only worked on analog systems on older tractors and cars but could hone in some skills for other projects

You forgot to mention that the design should be mirrored during printing. Because when u press it against the pcb for ironing It gets mirrored again.

do you just rince the pcb full of ferric chloride in the sink? I bet this is can damage the pipes over time. what is the recommanded way to do it?
