Homemade PCB Etching (through hole parts) - Part 1 Joseph: I make double sided boards this way. I n order to line it all up, you put 4 mounting holes, one in each corner. Then put the top image on as a mirrored image. Then drill the four holes carefully. Then line up the image for the other side by lining up the mounting holes. Then use parchment paper under the board to protect the image on the top side while you iron on the bottom side. Then etch and if you drilled the holes accurately, it will all be good.

Sadly Eagle is pretty useless for anything other than really quite small boards - 80cm2 (4 x 3. 2) limit. KiCAD, Easy EDA and others do the same or better job without such ridiculously small limits. Autodesk really ought to re-examine its size policy for hobbyists. Until they do I for one won't be using or recommending their usage.

GreatScott, will u please explain why the 555 can't work with the c1 capacitor 102 (0. 001 uF or 1 nF) and less. In my design the potentiometr is 20k and everything seems to work in software simulationbut not IRL. Thank you!

GreatScott, you should try out KiCad instead of Eagle next time you need a pcb. Its free and has no dimension restriction like Eaglecad has. Its fairly easy to use, I used it when designing the PCB for my Capstone in college.

shouldn't you route the tracks at 120 degree bends. 90 degree bends simply mean a reduced cross section which implies increased resistance. won't matter much for low currents but not a good technique though.

Is there a reason in particular why you said that you can't sell your own homemade pcbs designed off the eagle software? I couldn't find any restrictions on the internet about that

I just wondering you didn't have makes video on it but, after finding this by YouTube suggestion while watching many of PCB videos I surprised! Great! Great scott

You don't have to use Eagle or any such thing. I just use Photoshop. As long as you know the sizes of the parts you're using, it's great.

Wie nennt man die Verbindungsteile die Sie nutzen, um die Kontakte zu verbinden? Also diese Zinnstangen die gebogen sind.
