Wise strategy by the Sassanid army to use war Elephants as first assault to break the Roman army square formation and they used the Elephants to charge diagonally so that the Roman will react and adjust their squares, the noise of war Elephants and the report of their scouts the Roman army should borrow the very long spear of the Greek army at least at front that can strike the war Elephants at some distance then create space inside square accomodate the charge of war Elephants then strike them with spear at sides. The Sassanids foot soldiers attacked them in a diamond shaped formation as if piercing the square with numbers at center of diamond in a fast assault to ram them, the same rule applies break the square in half then sandwiched them. The Sassanids attacked the Romans layer by layer of attack to overwhelm them but this time the Romans have cavaliers that outflank them. I think based from the video it's 50-50 win or lose for both sides, they didn't finish the video though.

Sassanid is quite underrated. Roman has 2 minutes of showing and introductiom while Sasanian only has around 30 seconds, what more even underrated is the video emphasize the Roman cataphract but not Sasanian Cataphract which is one of the most notable unit after Immortal.
Beside Sasanian unit is very cool as well as such it is unfair to emphasize only Roman army. Sasanian deserve more.

This makes no sense. Why would the Sassanids charge into a formation of Romans when they were the ones defending
The tactics used by the Sassanid A. I. in this video are just unrealistic, given how often they won battles vs the Romans.
