This has been a masive tragic civil war in the Roman Empire So this war was a consugvencue from Ceaser death and like in the game The Alyes are fighting betwen themselfes I think that war lead Rome in destruction because Rome devided from that on Eastern and Western and soon the bouth colapsed from the local tribes rebelion like the Huns the Avars and many anothers who later just atack the Empire and the Tyrks when congyer Constantinopol was the end of the Empire

It was Anthony who fought against Cassius and Octavian against Brutus. Anthony's men crushed Cassius's troops and the latter committed suicide thinking the cavalry detachment approaching him is an enemy. Brutus's legions routed those of Octavian and plundered his camp while he was hiding at the nearby swamp, but retreated when got word of Cassius's defeat. The second battle was the defeat of Brutus's legions altogether.

This is one of those rare battles in history, where we are explicitly told that there was no strategy, no cunning, no attempts at outwitting the enemy. Just a straight up massive fight between two sides, who both saw themselves the saviours of Rome and the other side as traitors. About as even a battle as you will ever find.

I have a request - regarding for this sequel - can we also talk about the Naval battle of Actium in 32 BC when the Naval forces loyal to Octavian finally defeated Mark Antony and Cleopatra's combined naval forces - which secured Octavian's position as the 1st emperor.

In the next video, please make Goguryeo VS Sui. Goguryeo is one of the countries that existed in Korea in the past. Goguryeo had the experience of blocking 1 million troops from the Sui dynasty in the past.

How were Roman armies housed, fed and supplied That number of soldiers must have required uniform and weapon production on an industrial scale. Did Rome have arms factories

Terrible waste of good soldiers lives. Lucky for Rome this battle took place a few centuries before Attila the Hun came on the scene.
