China has a poverty alleviation policy, meaning the government provides financial support to those without income or the ability to work. Local village heads manage the lists of low-income individuals and distribute the subsidies centrally. However, a downside is that some local officials may falsify lists, alter or embezzle government subsidies. This can also lead to smear campaigns, rumors, and, as the blogger mentioned, the elimination of political opponents. Before Xi Jinping came to power, corruption in China was very serious. How serious Officials used government funds to squander money, spending hundreds of thousands, even millions of RMB on a single meal, blatantly abusing their power for personal gain. But now, such corruption is much less prevalent. Many ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, Tibet, and the Hui people receive government subsidies. They receive 30, 000-50, 000 RMB annually without doing anything. Low-income rural residents can. Go to the city to work. Even if you don't make money, their houses won't be allowed to be sold or traded. Because if you can't make it in the city, you can go back to the countryside to farm. The state also guarantees income for this part of the population. Finally, for the homeless, the state has shelters and welfare institutions. You will be placed in state-run charitable welfare units. Unlike in the United States, there won't be homeless people everywhere.
So this video isn't even one percent accurate. Now I understand why foreigners always think our government is bad. Because there are too many bloggers like this, taking money from the US to smear China. Why doesn't he talk about recent events, like Israel Or the US's false accusations against Venezuela, arresting the president of a legitimate country just to steal oil, or threatening to annex Greenland, or forcing Canada to become the 51st state of the US Because he doesn't dare to say these things; his master will beat him on the head with a stick.

Thirty years ago, when I interned at a star-rated hotel’s Western restaurant next to the location of a provincial military command, I noticed that over a dozen private rooms were reserved for military officers at the rank of general or colonel for both lunch and dinner. During the two months of my internship, there were no exceptions. Over a decade ago, official vehicles with military or armed police license plates were still a common sight everywhere. Also over a decade ago, a relative and a friend of mine worked as drivers for military district leaders, submitting tens of thousands in monthly reimbursements for meals, training, accommodations, fuel, and repairs. By the time President Xi Jinping’s first term concluded, all of these practices had largely disappeared from public view, and I came to understand that his commitment to the people was sincere! Addressing corrupt military discipline has always been one of the toughest challenges for Chinese leaders. Since President Xi chose to confront it head-on, naturally, after his first term, I became his staunch supporter. Meanwhile, the Chinese people have been telling the story of Emperors Yao and Shun abdicating their thrones with courtesy for two thousand years, and after the Mao Zedong era, they will not accept a leader for life. Xi Jinping has a profound understanding of Chinese history; otherwise, he could not have risen through such a difficult path to power. He naturally understands the people's preferences. As his staunch supporter, I certainly hope he can serve four terms, but I estimate that after his third term, he will only be willing to serve as an advisor.

Very good video overall, but I’d like to correct a misunderstanding in the video regarding Xi Jinping’s political rival, Bo Xilai.
He was not a supporter of Jiang Zemin or Hu Jintao, nor was he an advocate of the free market. On the contrary, he wanted to turn back the clock to the Mao era, inciting the masses to engage in class struggle. He presented himself as an extreme ideologue, but in reality he was deeply corrupt, flagrantly disregarded laws and discipline, and even under the direct supervision of the Politburo, the highest organ of power in the Communist Party he still forcibly framed and imprisoned a lawyer, crossing a clear red line of the Party.
Later, after realizing he had no chance of becoming the next General Secretary / President, he even colluded with Zhou Yongkang (then the top leader of the armed police/paramilitary forces) to plot a coup. In the end, he was arrested and imprisoned by Hu Jintao.
