I absolutely agree with the physical affection part. Aside from what was mentioned in the video, I do have another tip. Simply make it clear that you want to spend time with your partner. It always makes me very happy when my boyfriend invites me over to his house. We dont have a lot in common, but thats not an unfortunate thing- after all, it makes the time we do spend together extra precious. Your partner usually inviting you out anyways isnt a good excuse to not invite them out sometime. Trust me, itll make them feel very appreciated.
If you cant actually spend time with your partner, you can always just talk about wanting to spend time with them. Whenever Im missing my boyfriend, I tell him that I wish I had someone to cuddle me, and hed usually say that he wishes he could cuddle me. That alone is enough to make me smile.
