I met a woman in 2014/15. She was the first woman I spoke to that wasn't my wife in over a decade. I told her a lot of things about me and we shared a lot of laughter and flirted a lot. We used to write notes to each other because people where we worked would talk if they would see us together and we didn't want anyone knowing about us. We used to text too. I was fool to think I could find something I lost in someone different. I used to love when she'd shave her head, too. I was wrong for thinking any other woman would want me, and I was wrong for thinking it because I was married to top it all off. I ruined our friendship by trying to tell her how I felt through text. I suck so bad sometimes.

Flirting and really establishing a proper connection with someone your interested in over text does have it's challenges. Your not able to pick up on small details or behaviors compared to if you were talking to someone irl. However you made a lot of great points such as having many inside jokes with someone you like. And when it comes to flirting itself, yes sometimes you should really emphasize it to get the message across. Overall you provided some great tips! Fantastic work Psych2go!

I’ve been doing these ways to talk with my friend (I have a crush on him) but now I want to confess my feelings towards him. I haven’t taken enough courage for now but maybe there’s really a right time for that. I just don’t want him to be confused and think that I’m just being friendly.

Bruh, that’s why I never so much as talk to someone I’m interested in. Nowhere near neurotypical enough to be confident in knowing what is and isn’t creepy. Plus I’m blind to any kind of flirting anyway so it’s a moot point from the start
