Learn how to set up OneDrive / SkyDrive on your Windows computer. Great way to store your documents in the cloud and sync them across all your devices A1D4N1000: I love how this guy seems to think there is a pride factor about being able to produce a PowerPoint or Word document within a Microsoft programme rather than a replica programme as could be recommended by google drive. Who cares? Like if the document gets made then does it matter? I used to use Open Office rather than word when I needed those types of files and I used to use Open Office because unlike Microsoft they didn't want to chare you for the usage and you could even save in a Microsoft format if you liked. Also I love the way how synchronising everything together these days seems to be promoted to such an extent! synchronise One drive to you phone and computer and tablet and maybe in the next update you could synchronise it to your partner so you know exactly what they are up to at any given moment too just like Microsoft does about you as you are being tracked like a convict. Think about it guys, convenience or slow gain into peoples privacy?

Thanks so much for this video. When I installed OneDrive I chose not to sync because I had no existing files/folders in OneDrive (so there was nothing to choose) and I didn't choose to sync everything because I thought that it would sync all files on my machine (not just the OneDrive files). So I was completely frustrated that my local OneDrive folder always contained only the files I had contributed from the machine I was on. Now that I understand the sync thing, it works as I expected. By the way, you didn't really describe how radically much better OneDrive is than Google Drive ... with Google Drive there is, as far as I know, literally no way to locally reproduce a GD document ... all your documents exist only on GD, unless you want uneditable snapshots. I gave up on GD shortly after starting to use it; Google apparently thinks we're all ready to abandon local computing entirely, and that just isn't the case.

I need help with OneDrive on WINDOWS 10.
Basically I've set everything up fine, but my Onedrive folder only has 'Documents' 'Music' and 'Pictures' in it .. whereas in the video he has like all his folders.
What I want, is basically when I save stuff into my music folder on my computer, I want it to be on my OneDrive too, but it doesnt seem to do anything unless I copy the files manually into my OneDrive so called 'Music' folder. Is there any way to get all my music, Documents, Pictures and any other folder on my computer to automatically Sync to OneDrive and be available then Online.

Good video. One day Onedrive appeared in my hotmail. So I have been using it to access a couple of important business documents. Then all of a sudden One drive is constantly full of every photo on my phone and music too. I keep deleting things from Onedrive every time I have to edit the documents I need... but moments later it's full of all the useless crap I don't need. I have deleted the music folder in Onedrive but music just saves in the main folder now. How do I stop Onedrive filling up with stuff that doesn't need to be there?

I've put some files on my iMac into OneDrive. I've then signed into my Microsoft account on my Lumia 535. Both the Lumia and my iMac are on the same wifi. However, none of the files I've added to OneDrive on my iMac appear in OneDrive on my Lumia phone. Also I get none of the options showed in your video. All I get is a screen showing the option of documents photos or Notebook. All these are empty. Why aren't the files shown on my Lumia? I've wasted 10 hours and looked at countless videos but no one can tell me what's wrong.

Really interesting video! Couple of questions...... I accidentally asked Onedrive to sync or upload a whole load of photo's. Then realised I should not have done. How do I stop it uploading all the photos? ALSO............. In MY account I have shared some folders with our fire brigade so I can work when I am on the fire station. BUT..... when I log in using the brigade email, the Onedrive does not show the shared folders. How do I get it to show the shared folder please.......Thanks!

Thank you for your informative video. Still having a problem though. When I edit a file and save it while accessing it from my PC, I go to One Drive and look at the same document; and the changes are not there. It works both ways. I can edit the document in One Drive, and the changes do not get saved to my PC. What am I doing wrong? I am new to this. Thank you!

I have 1 Terrabyte from Dropbox for $100 a year....... However.....
I also have OneDrive with 1 terrabyte for free for 3 years because I bought a Surface Pro3 and used my college email for registration. It is part of a free offering to some college students via Office 365. Look into it it's worth it!!!

I have One Drive on my laptop, Samsung Note 5 and Tablet. In the past month the synching to my devices has been failing every other week. It was suggested that I turn off and then turn on synch. This first tine is worked but now it continues to fail. Any suggestion?
