It was surprisingly hard to find mineral-based sunscreens when I went shopping for some. Most of the ones I did find were either really expensive, or for children; and they were all in much smaller bottles than I would've liked. As for sunscreen lip balm, I had absolutely no luck finding a mineral-based one in the stores I went to. I did find some mineral-based sunscreens on Amazon, but unfortunately they wouldn't get here until August

They forgot to mention European and Asian filters which are safer and a lot more effective. They also missed out the fact that uva protection causes a lot more long term damage and makes up 90% of the UV rays. UVA also is the main cause of the skin cancers and aging whereas the uvb only causes the surface short term cell death.

I was out in the beating-down sun a lot the past two days for a music festival, and though I usually don't burn, I would like to be more conscientious about protecting my skin. And especially now that I've got a mild but honest-to-God sunburn on my chest, I'm browsing Amazon for some mineral-based SPF 30 sunscreen!

It's odd, I tan easily but I turn back really pale even quicker, and I've only gotten one sunburn before, in Europe while on the beach for half the day

0: 55 makes no sense. uvb is supposed to reach the deeper part of skin due to the bigger energy it has because the uvb's wavelength is shorter

This is the one I go back to, besides doctors, in getting the best summary for the best choice of sunscreen.
Sorry beauty gurus.

Good thing I don't use the sunscreen I usually have for swimming in the ocean, I'll have to buy a different one for that.
