Since their emergence over 200, 000 years ago, modern humans have established communities all over the planet. But they didnt do it alone. Whatever corner of the globe you find humans in today, youre likely to find another species as well: dogs. So how did one of our oldest rivals, the wolf, evolve into mans best friend? David Ian Howe traces the history of humanitys first domesticated animal. Lesson by David Ian Howe, directed by Cabong Studios

Thank you.
Could I ask of you a clarification of the naming system for dogs! What's the meaning and difference between terriers, bulls, pitbulls, shepherds, mastiffs, hounds. etc? What's the origin of such classification?

reply

I searched up watch dogs legion behind the scenes and YouTube recommended me this. Now, will there be a brief history of WATCH dogs?
reply

Canis Lupus Familiaris or Canine Wolf (Lupine) Familiar
(I know canis lupus familaris is the dog but hey dont ruin le joke)

reply

Aww that's sad the little dachshund is prone to spinal problems. And the english bulldog is prone to breathing problems.
reply

So basically, if wolves without packs weren't curious enough to go near human encampments, dogs would never have evolved.
