Iran is one of the earths final frontiers. Its a country little visited by western travellers in recent years, yet it has been at the centre of world affairs for millennia. I wanted to take a peek behind the veil of modern-day Iran. What I discovered was a complex, incredibly hospitable people living in a much-misunderstood country at the heart of a troubled region. My journey takes me from the bustle of Tehran, via the Valley of the Assassins to ancient cities unchanged since Marco Polo first entered them eight centuries ago. But this isnt just a journey through an ancient landscape. Its a journey in search of one of the worlds least known religious sects. the ancient Fire Worshippers Of Yazd

Its amazing that everyone seems to forget that the CREATOR called father Abraham (Abram) to get away separate himself and all his house from his own people to follow HIM into the wilderness to a land HE will show him.
If Zoroastrian was supposed to be the way of the faithful for the ONE I Am that I Am that was started before Abraham was ever born then why didnt GOD just tell Abraham to follow that religion then instead of being told to pack up everything and everyone to get away from Abrahams own people for to follow this promise?

god i absolutely love the guy in these documentaries. he reminds me of a mature, more respectful vice journalist. in the sense that hes always getting involved with whats going on and is interacting with the people. he makes these videos 100% more interesting and hes not just some boring antisocial dude filming people and places. he also extremely respectful of cultures and is always following the rules of the places hes at to the T. its so refreshing to have someone like him

I love all of David Adams journeys. He is a very lucky man. lolthe motorcycles and SUVS that he just magically appears in. lolthe singing. Being asked to sing is my worst nightmare cause it will become a nightmare for others. Whats so cool about these sites is that because so many westerners are afraid of Iran, none of them are overrun with tourists. Im sure hes visiting most of them very early and late too, to get shots where it looks like theyre just unattended and alone.

If God wishes, I would love to visit Iran or called Aryan in ancient times, the brothers of India also called Aryavart. India and Olden Iran have many things common. The old language of Zend Avesta times resembles Sanskrit of old India. Hindus and Parsi both worship fire.
I have gone through history of Achmenid and Sassanian Empires of Iran. Going to read Shahnameh also.

One land I would love to visit. my brother has made multiple trips for his work there and he told me about their rich culture and the people's hospitality. we have inherited some words from them like pesca pigiama veranda and we shared art architecture and music in the past. even green eyes are popular there. on my bucket list

I recall a book which touched on the Mazdakite religion. The greatest transgression is The Lie. Current practices among Muslims can call prevarication a good thing although it is supposed to be to avoid repression.
Which brings the question, has lying become a religious duty?

The brittish had iran under occupation for 150 years and when we asked USA for help, USA make sure that the shah remains in power, so we had to take him down twice to have our country back 90 % of us are muslims anyways, how can you speak of democracy dont be hypocritical

Im an American, Im extremely fascinated by Indo-Iranian people, culture, history, and folklore. I have been fortunate enough to meet people of Iranian origin in The U. S, our respective governments are deplorable for trying to sow the seeds of discord among the peoples

Dear Mr Adams, thanx for this beautiful film about Iran and it's people. Makes me yearn to visit these places and learn about the history. In India, there is a place selling ispahani tea. There are many Irani people in India and Irani hotels are popular

There is no doubt, I have my dear friend from Iran and I have found how hospitable, kind, livid, generous and courteous they are. Plz don't make them negative due to Political and ideaology differences.
reply

These Iranian people seem very friendly. It's our governments that always want to wage war not the people even though the people are the ones that have to fight and die for their governments agenda.

when i visited iran a few years back, it was amazing there were virtually no tourists, i felt as if i had the whole country to myself, locals were incredibly hospitable, a trip i will never forget
reply

Look nice but I don't think I want to travel to Iran because the government wants to control the way of freedom life of the people. men can do it but women can not, and that is not equal right.

Fire is the purest element among the 5. Sky, Air, Fire Water and Earth. which are together called 'Pancha Bhoothas '. And this is the reason Fire is worshipped. It never gets polluted.

Iran is not off limits to anyone and anyone can visit at any time. As for their dislike of the US government, well I'd wager it's for a good reason.
