Well, these sure weren't the Priests I remember. As a 4th grader in 1967 attending Catholic school in New York, I recall we had a school assembly where a US Army Catholic Chaplain came to speak to us about the Vietnam war. I remember the Chaplain was in uniform which made a big impression on me. The Priest said we were in Vietnam to help the Vietnamese people fight for freedom. At the end of he talk we were allowed to ask questions and one of the students asked the Chaplain if he carried a gun. The priest answered, yes he did, but said it was a water pistol filled with Holy Water and he would spray the soldiers when they cursed or were in his view sinful.

I think it is disgusting the way the government treated it's citizens that were opposed to war. They were people that were about love, life and building a good future with their fellow human being. And still today it is not much different, still persecuted by our peers for not agreeing with the war. That also interferes with their money, they will not let that happen and will do what it takes to prevent anyone or thing from interfering.

For anyone who may appreciate a forewarning for themselves / children, etc, this video contains some photos of children horribly mutilated by napalm. And would you be opposed to joining me in a prayer that God forgive us for such terrible acts upon innocent children, and that God Truly Assist, Help, And Guide us into a truer wisdom, and universal love for one and all. if that isn't asking for too much of God.

I was rather young at the time, but growing up in the Western Philadelphia suburbs we couldn't escape news of the Berrigans. My youthful Liberal heart still considers them heroes.

There is no bad peace nor is there good war. If these two make peace in this one house, you can say to the mountain, move. And it will be so. Namaste.

I absolutely hate the Berrigans I really do. They ruined an entire province of Jesuits and now the whole order is down the tubes.

The people know the meaning of the word guilty, and it's not just a technicality on paper. Our generation needs to take a lesson here
