What If Earth Suddenly Lost Its Atmosphere?

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Would we still be able to breathe? Could our atmosphere ever come back? Just how important is the atmosphere to our planet? It's absolutely vital. It protects us from asteroids and solar radiation. It regulates our climate. It makes life on Earth possible! Our nearest neighbor, Mars, lost most of its atmosphere some 4 billion years ago, and look what's become of it. Once warm and wet, it ain't the planet it used to be

In less than 1 minute the overwhelming majority of human life (like 99%) would end. In less than 10 minutes all but professionally trained free breathing divers would die. In less than 20 minutes, all human life would end. In other words all other details of this video are irrelevant for humans.

Fleeing Earth to colonize a dead planet? 7 billion space suits please! And several millions tons of food and about a million spaceships. Not likely.
