The reason how is solar eclipse: we know the moon spins around us right? when the moon goes on the right posesion when the sunlight touches the moon exept the Earth and makes a big shadow. You must wear special solar eclipse glasses or u will go blind.
from a camera you can see it as a black ball ( or maybe hole) with white sunshine at the edges.

Too bad, I've NEVER seen a TOTALITY (seen three partial solar eclipses including one I've stumbled across on BY ACCIDENT. Yes, I've seen several lunar eclipses (moon turn blood red when it dips into earth's shadow) but never a total sun eclipse (not even a ring of fire (annular) version.

even if the moon slows it's orbit enough to stays directly between the earth and the sun, it wouldn't necessarily fall toward the earth. the moon just slows it's revolution, not stopping it. it's revolution circling the earth would be as slow as the earth's revolution circling the sun.

On the Fourth of July last year I swear to you the clouds and moon were so close to my house that I literally felt like I could have reached up and touched it and it was amazing and scary at the same time

If it's always an eclipse somewhere Weddings would be timed for local eclipse day and clouds blocking the picture perfect moment would be considered bad luck

The moon won-t stay new forever so if it-s a first quarter you see half of the sun if it was a full moon you see no solar eclipse

Solar eclipses happen 2-3 times a year, and it may happen before or after a lunar eclipse, which happens on a full moon day.

A solar eclipse only happens on New Moon, and it blocks the sunlight from reaching the Earth, and it casts a shadow.

I thought people would freeze to death if something blocked sunlight to the earth if it blocked it permanently.
