Bro i have a theory. humans actually evolved in mars. nd hope the situation there was wrse for them nd they decided to live on earth cause the earth has all the essential they need like a strong atmosphere, CO2, strong magnetic field nd wch made them evlove to a nrml human who are weaker than martian that they take global warming as a disaster wch is actually essential in mars. but wen they decided to come to earth. earth was like it's only for animals like dinosaurus, etc wch is actually an alien for them, but by the tym God made a metroid to hit the earth and made the earth suitable place for the martian. as they have strong and good atmosphere magnetic field, water, etc. nd now the humans are more evolved nd wanted to reach their palce where there ansectors were actually born nd lived. there are so many generes of people who need CO2 to survive, nd some kind of ppl who's life runs in a reverse process. they are wired to us. nd we are wired to them. we evlove we make research we conquer(either in a good or a bad way) we evlove again. wch is actually make the place suitable for us to live and survive. god has plans nd he bring it to action wen needed.

There will never be any permanent human colony on Mars. Physiologically and psychologically, we evolved perfectly to live on this planet. Even if we -solved- the problem of radiation on Mars (highly unlikely) and somehow managed to produce enough food and resources for people there, having to live in an enclosed space forever would drive people insane all by itself. Moreover, the low gravity alone would kill you over time, as calcium leeching from your bones destroyed your internal organs. Fluid accumulation in your brain and spinal column would also damage you, especially your eyesight, and lead to tremendous health problems. Living even five years on Mars would be next to impossible.

First of all, IVF exists. All you need is a fertility specialist, a woman with a healthy uterus, and some frozen embryos to have babies without inbreeding. Second of all, evolution requires less fit people dying or being unable to reproduce. With modern technology and medicine, we're unlikely to ever let people die just to let natural selection adapt us to Mars. Genetic modification also isn't precise enough to do whatever we want, at least it won't be the case for a LONG long time.

Huge hole in this: scientific experimentation and study have robustly crushed the myth that environment drives mutations. In other words, mutations don't respond to environmental pressures; the organisms that carry them do. The only way in which Mars would trigger mutations different from those we see on Earth would be its radiation levels making more of them. That would probably work about as well for driving evolution as it did at, say, Chernobyl.

I disagree with the idea that -if you were born on Mars, you would likely have to stay there- because our bones couldn't compensate for Earth's gravity. I think a person would probably workout at the gym a lot more on Mars than we would expect. This would help compensate for the difference in gravity, but it would be the circulatory system and the ability to regulate blood pressure which would more likely pose issues.

so we have two options. A. start prepping babies now by duplicating conditions in a controlled lab facility that way when it is time, we have a generation able to send up and survive. B. we send people up to have babies who slowly lose their minds on a foreign planet dealing with crying children as they gradually and tortuously expose their own children to the harsh environment of Mars.

I think you would have to develop some type of gravity plating that would bring the gravity to 1G and develop some type of electromagnetic shielding to protect the colony from radiation. For the oxygen, I think a portable oxygen concentrator while you were outside would do the trick. I think the biggest problem would be growing food and water.

There's one more complicated factor not included here - how would a Martian diet affect our biology? Surely it's an improbable and implausible solution to transfer poultry and grains directly from Earth, so what could we actually rear and grow enough for even 98 people under these conditions. Btw, orange skin. does that mean Trump is a Martian?

Him: once we settle on Mars, we probably won't stop there. Other planets or even space.
Me: there would be wars of planets, fights of encroachment of space.
Diversities without financial corruption.
(Qoute me now let's see what generations use my quotes for future war settlements)

At the rate humanity's going he will be extinct himself before he can transform Mars into anything resembling a hospitable place to live. Earth is a one off place that has the only conditions for life such as we know and have always known it.

I have written a book about this. How will humans evolve in 38% gravity with very high amounts of solar radiation? Will will be taller? will we have scales? will we need gills to breathe an oxygen-depleted atmosphere?

bactira they can get vaccine to go to earth you need to think that when we need to go to mars they will think about all the disadvantages there to be able to live there and come back even if they were born on mars

outside the solar system? when do you believe humans will develop near light speed travel? Proxima Centauri is 4. 25 light years from us and would take 6, 300 years to get there using current technology.

Before we worry about atmosphere on mars we need to create a magnetic field on mars. Without that it will just get blown away again, you know, like it did before. Not to mention the radiation.

First off, there would probably be no conception! If their was birth, it would die before the age of one! Giving birth on Mars should be illegal, it is most certainly unethical!

And how do you know it's going to be all confined to indoor living, so we will evolve to be nearsighted? You just don't know what the future holds. I know it's a speculative video. Lol

Mars is my 2nd favorite planet besides Earth. Roblox has a lot of games about Mars. With no man's skyies space ships, we can get to Mars in 3 to 4 hours at the fastest speed.

Therefore them still getting a lot of bone pressure on mars

I completely forgot that Mars has lower gravity therefore it being actually helpful to be taller because of the added mass and stress going to the bones

I think you-d need way, way more than 1 000 000 people to get close to staring evolution. So, realistically 1 000 000 000 probably wouldn-t even be enough.

We'll have the ability to modify our own genes by the time we settle Mars? Oh really? And they're saying within 20-30 years that's happening. Huh.

Mars is NOT the most Earth-like planet in the Solar system. That would be Earth.
Millennial documentary makers, am I right?
