What If South America Disappeared?

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
It-s been over 200 million years since South America broke off Africa into its own continent. But now it-s behaving very strangely. It-s taking on water and going down. How would this whole continent turn into a sinking ship? What effect would this have on the rest of the world? And how would you and everyone else manage to escape?

If South America disappeared, it would have a number of significant effects on the planet.
Firstly, it would cause a significant loss of biodiversity, as South America is home to many unique plant and animal species found nowhere else on Earth.
Secondly, it would also cause a major loss of human population, as there are many people living in South America.
Thirdly, it would also cause a significant change in ocean currents, as the warm currents flowing north from South America would no longer be present. This could have a ripple effect on weather patterns and global climate, potentially causing severe weather events and changes in temperature and precipitation.
Fourthly, it would also affect the global economy, as South America is a major producer of goods such as coffee, soybeans, and petroleum. The disappearance of the continent would cause a significant shortage of these goods and likely cause prices to rise.
Finally, it would also have significant impact on the global culture, as South America has a rich history and culture.
It's worth noting that such an event is purely speculative and impossible, as it would require a catastrophic event to happen such as a massive asteroid impact or pole shift, which would have a much more severe impact on the entire planet.

I was kinda hoping for a bit more of the what would happen if South America just instantly popped and disappeared. 2/3 of the video is explaining how tectonic plates work, and how it could theoretically disappear over the course of a few million years.
Some more depth to the -natural disasters- would be cool. Like what could happen as a result of the giant waves from the two oceans flooding together with a continent suddenly being gone. How it would affect shipping routes once settled. Affects on the atmosphere with all the plants from the amazon being gone and no longer producing oxygen, but at the same time the production of methane from the cattle ranching in south america being wiped out.
I usually quite like this type of analysis, but the way this has been presented feels like a 7th grade paper who wanted words on a page and researched into one specific vaguely related thing, and then at the end realized they needed to try to tie it back a bit - but didnt want to do a whole lot of research to do so and just wanted it done with, not caring how it turned out

Plz make a video that what if earth's oceans and seas have iron water and if you dont know what is iron water listen now a sink's iron pipe when gets rusty and the water passing through the pipe mixes with the rusty and comes out of the sink or basin

Thank you very much. As a South American I really appreciate the instructions on how to escape, in case it sinks.
You never know, after 500 million years, being part of Pangaea then Gondwana and then isolated, if it won't sink tomorrow

What if we could control the conditions of a planet to make it go rogue but in a way we can control it-s direction and lock it into the suns orbit where we wanted it. What could we create

It would be terrible because we get so many resources (like a large chunk of our oxygen) from this region not to mention it would displace millions of people. It would be terrifying -

south africa cant disapear cuz water is 70 percent of earth and its imposible for it to increase cuz the desert can stop it and it can turn itself into mud lol

The over excitement in their voice holds me back from continuing to watch the rest of the video. Oh well.
