The arm ACTS on its own? Just like a real arm? Excuse me, my arms and hands do what I tell them to do. They don-t have a mind of their own.
This could be cool but how does the arm convey the feeling of touch to you? Vibrations? What about the pressure?

Yeh this is great but they've left a key point out. How does the user know what the arm knows? Is it connected to the brain somehow? What exactly has been achieved here other than putting sensors on a robotic arm?

You now have 15 seconds to comply. You are in direct violation of Penal Code 1. 13, Section 9.
You have 5 seconds to comply. 4. 3. 2. 1. I am now authorized to use physical force.

Does this send information about touch to the brain or it just automatically calculates how much force is required to hold any object without actually providing input to the brain?

Team of engineers, and science built upon science to come up with something far inferior to the human hand. Human hand reduced to couple billion of years of accidents. logic.

Dont worry for whoever who think it is harmful for humanity
Actually it a step towards creating our own arm. -
HAVE A NICE DAY FOR ALL MY AMPUTATED BROTHERS. --

Correct me if I am wrong. The prosthetic hand can feel and can act accordingly, but the user cannot feel what they prosthetic feels, right?
reply

All I can think is: okay, now how do reproduce this technology on a larger scale and make it affordable for the average amputee?
reply

why don't we invest in bio engineering instead of this so we can regrow some ones arm instead using genetic splicing
