nothing but a big hoax the whole thing. hanson fooled me into believe sophia was real, then i discovered it was a fake prop complete hoax. then boston fooled me making me believe their robots were real, then i discovered its all cgi and augmented reality, so who knows what else the big media is faking. how do you know the news reporters on tv are actually real people. for all we know they are just programs running inside a giant server building and run all virtually. perhaps the interviewed people are remotly cut and paste into a scenes created by a computer in some augmented reality frame blending simulation with reality.

When/if the spot mini is ever marketed to consumers it seems like they would be great for disabled people.
Instead of having to train a dog for a year, and inevitably replace it after a decade or so once it grows too old, you could just buy one spot mini for life!

Bad idea, what-s wrong with a real dog that will love you, robotics isn-t the way forward, it-s the end of human kind!
Why not spent all this money wasted on robotic dogs on helping the countries with famine or help with medicinal purposes.

A: TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND JOBS!
Q: How many jobs going to robots over the next 3-5 years.
A: THIRTY SIX THOUSAND JOBS!
Q: How many cashiers jobs that have been lost at Walmart alone since self checkouts have been introduced.

Ok 2 things- one, it looks like Dum-E. And two somebody said once they would make good service bots for people with disabilities (opening doors, gentle enough to handle glass. That'd be a cool direction.

The bad thing is half of these robots are CGI. I'm not saying they can't make things like these I'm just saying cuz they exposed their self: T

All this research and study so in 50 years Boston Dynamics is the #1 stock in the NYSE and a robot can bring me soda and demand rights. lol

Humanoid robots I find scary, the non humanoid robots like the ones shown are a lot less disturbing. I just have a bad feeling about AI
