I do have one question. Why is it important to create the ability for something to change states? Seems like that would lead to random errors.
If I changed the states of part of a byte to be able to change it's state then that would create something different every time I used it. For example: If I did that to the byte that represented the letter A. I could type it and sometimes I would get A and sometimes I would get another letter or symbol. How would this help me?

When this all started, we had no idea where it would lead. We are still coming to terms using superposition, interference, and entanglement. Binary computers use ones and zeros. Quantum uses ones, zeros, and both at same time, or none at same time or. that's the exciting thing about quantum. We have a long way to go.

And not to mention if they managed to simulate it to biochemical complexity it can help discover new medicine to combat diseases, and that'll help us to synthesize new kind of material for certain engineering uses. The possibility are insane and a lot of it is still unknown.

It is a great initiative to give Young Generation a knowledgeable experience, that's how next highly intelligent Engineers and Scientists were created naturally. You give them a glimpse of how these things could change others and also theirs future for better. If i could had a interaction with such big scientific stuff( Quantum Computing ) in my childhood, that could be enough to satisfy my imagination and dreams.

Thank you so much, this is awesome! So, is a human mind like a classical computer; or is it more like a quantum computer? Isn't anything we can make just a reflection of our own minds? Is it really our own minds that we are trying to understand? We have to be able to imagine it before we can invent it, is that right? So, is the human brain already more complicated than a quantum computer? Very interesting!

For the first kid, do you need to explain what a classical computer is before explaining a quantum computer?
They both have 'computer' in the name but I don't think understanding of the first is that relevant to help explaining the concept of the second.
