-He thought of the telescreen with its never-sleeping ear. They could spy upon you night and day, but if you kept your head you could still outwit them. With all their cleverness they had never mastered the secret of finding out what another human being was thinking. .. . Facts, at any rate, could not be kept hidden. They could be tracked down by inquiry, they could be squeezed out of you by torture. But if the object was not to stay alive but to stay human, what difference did it ultimately make? They could not alter your feelings; for that matter you could not alter them yourself, even if you wanted to. They could lay bare in the utmost detail everything that you had done or said or thought; but the inner heart, whose workings were mysterious even to yourself, remained impregnable. -
- George Orwell, 1984
Government authorities in Hong Kong are using blue dye in their water cannons to identify demonstrators their already existing facial recognition technology don't catch.

You see all the scientists and tech people working on developing this technology, but where is the opposite side, software that disables facial recognition, I guess this is what you get when money and power dictates progress, and not free will and good intentions governed by morality. Power always wants subordinates and they are creating slave society wrapped up in comfort and glitter, they overstate our supposed endangered status to softly blackmale us into accepting their -gift- of safety. Do we even know what types of brains will constant surveillance create, brains without free will or creativity that made every progress possible. Captivity breeds 2 things, followers and rebels, and so, yet another cycle of battle between freedom and oppression (slavery, feudalism) has begun.

One of the biggest things to be worried about is how securely facial recognition data in our personal devices and services is stored. I mean private companies already sell private data all the time, imagine facial recognition data with our name attached to it being distributed around. This data should be treated same as passwords and company should not know anything about it.
General face recognition should be just straight up banned, and I think photos on social media services should be somehow protected against at least outside face recognition. Tough I'm not sure how viable that is.

What do you when law enforcement works for a private company that wants to frack your community? It turns out to be profitable to track those individuals who would object to having their children's kidneys used as industrial filters. They can be isolated, shamed, and made into pariahs in their own communities. It adds to the fun when the local -Muh Freedumbs- crowd is in compliance with the billionaire's wishes, and they do it for free! Just rumble about jobs, -jobs, jobs, jobs! -, throw in a little prejudice, and let fear do the rest. By the way, this is here. This is now.

Facial recognition is profiling, profiling is wrong.
They will automatically consider you guilty by association for anything and everything when as humans we have the right to experience anything and everything we want and explore everything.
Perfect example is her LGBT comment.
Say someone does visit these places, facial recognition will assume your guilty by association when in fact someone may be there just for information purposes only or human experience.
Illegal all of it is illegal and violates human and civil rights.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A PERSON LOSES AND GAINS AND LOSES WEIGHT? Look at how actors can dedicate to a role where they play a POW or survivalist role? Angles change and fat deposition changes.
Ive been mistaken many times for someone else at least 50 x.
Its rediculous to rely on when trying to police ppl. Totally not reliable.

Also 27 have been arrested now over lighting these fires in Australia. I can think of no one who would do this accept the government. I had to find the info in an obscure news article when on TV its all -look at all the fire, it must be global warming-. I smell MORE conspiracy than I already know is in this sh! thole gov.

If there are cameras everywhere, it will be very difficult for criminals to escape, especially if the data is being recorded. As she said, we can trace things backwards, and even if the criminal escapes (to the sewers or the countryside, they can find the places he went and the people he met.

AI is too accurate it's not PC. Describes -transwomen- as being real men which they actually are & identifies black women as -men- because some of them have stronger facial features than men of other races so it calculates them as men via math. Jaw, distances, density, shapes, etc.

We all need to stand up and say no to this tyranny. We're at a turning point right now. The begging of the end of natural humans. We will be replaced by digital versions within 10 years. All left progressive liberals need to be stopped before this gets out of hand
