Some tips on tires, if you have a mini spare get rid of it and buy a regular steel rim with a full-size spare, and make sure the valve is facing in a way that you can check the pressure regularly easily. Get a good quality plug kit (Safety seal makes a great one, not fix a flat or a cheap plug kit. As mentioned below, keep an air compressor in your car. In the cold season for every 10 deg the temp drops, you lose about 2 lbs of pressure so in those months check your pressures more often. ALWAYS CHECK PRESSURES WHEN TIRES ARE COOL! In the warmer months, first thing in the morning or later in the evening is best. When setting air pressures go by what the car manufacturer says, not what the sidewall of the tire says! You have no idea how many times as an auto tech I got -these tires get no traction! - Only to find that had severely overinflated them because -that's what the sidewall said- In winter if you use snow tires get narrower tires if possible, same height though. You do not want wide tires on snow, especially in cars that are light. They will act like snow shoes and you want the car to sink down as close to the pavement as possible. Not only that but it will pack the snow better allowing you better traction. There is so much more, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I am a smoker so I always have a bic lighter, a cigarette will always light ( I guard them with my life) So even if the fuel in the bic is low I can still light the cigarette and start a fire with the cherry. Also, my entire truck is a survival kit! I have a 2018 Ram Power Wagon and I joke with my Star Wars-loving kid that I have more smuggling compartments than the Millenium Falcon! Jumper cables, rope, air compressor, tire plug kit, (which also contains a lubricant that is flammable when rubbed into cotton) tarp, wool gloves, hat, and blanket, rechargeable headlamp, Gorilla tape, and much much more. The truck itself has several USB ports and a 110-volt outlet, heated seats (great if I am not out of gas, or have a dead battery) I also have a backpack that I grab when going out in the woods with the ten c's and then some. As mentioned I always carry a lighter, but also always carry a knife, multi tool, flashlight, toenail clippers, and tweezers. But the most important thing I have no matter the situation is knowledge and skills. Without that you are screwed, so get all of it you can and practice all you can!

Disinfecting your hands is probably more important when it comes to treating injuries. Your gut can handle a lot of the bad bacteria pretty well overall and it's better to eat something questionable than to not eat at all, but your blood stream is a different story. There's a reason why birth fatality rates were so high before the doctors washing their hands became procedure.
That said I'm sure cooking your food on a fire if possible is still a good idea. Bad bacteria may generally be less of an issue than starvation, but some of it can still take you out fast with stuff like diarrhea and vomiting.
There are methods for trying to keep a wound as bacteria-free as possible, like certain anti-bacterial plants and substances that you can pack into the wound (I know honey is antibacterial for example and they used to put it on wounds in the past, there's also plants that can help reduce or treat infection symptoms to help you survive longer, but they're not guaranteed obviously, so, the best thing is to not get injured in the first place if possible lol.

It is MUCH easier to go without food if you are on a carnivore diet. Once your body is adapted to that diet, you can go days or even weeks without food and feel perfectly fine. In fact, you'll even get an energy boost by fasting while on the carnivore diet. And when you do get hungry, the hunger pains will not be anywhere near as bad as you are used to. It is much more of a gentle reminder to eat that you can easily ignore.
It is only when you are eating a carb heavy diet, or a diet high in fruits, vegetables, and grains, that hunger becomes a serious problem.
You also don't need to worry about brushing your teeth. Without carbohydrates, there is nothing to harm your teeth. Eating a high protein and high fat diet doesn't rot your teeth like carbs do.

If you're going to pack a survival kit for your car(not for a planned survival situation, but as a means to be able to leave if your car runs out of gas, pack a bike and some heavy duty winter clothes with layers. You could also get something, I think it's an app or some technological device, that lets you share your GPS location with others so that if you get stuck somewhere they could maybe call for help.

1: 57 Actually, an apex predator is a predator that doesn't have any natural predators of its own. Which is why a cheetah is an apex predator, even though lions kill them; it's because they're not preyed upon by lions for food. Great White Sharks however, are preyed upon by Orca.
So since sharks do have a natural predator, I don't think they can be apex predators

Man i live in Ontario and ill tell you surviving in winter would be no easy beginner feat. As insane as it sounds tho with a small bag if sunflower seeds or peanut butter (especially peanut butter) you can attract tons of wild bird and SQUIRRELS to trap or hunt in the depths of winter. Works like a charm as everyone is as hungry as you

Yeah, that's literally what the dude was asking. Altoids tin survival kits, are, as should be obvious, emptied out Altoids tins, which are mints that have existed since this dudes grand parents were kids, that you fill out yourself. Way to not answer the question at all.

The question about smoke and fire, I'd add that once you have a fire going and everyone is sitting around it, stay still. The more you wave your hands and move around the more of a vacuum you cause the smoke to move into. So stay still and it'll move onto someone else before long.

Using a stick to blow down is a great way to prevent getting a lung full of smoke when making a fire. Use part of a fishing rod, or anything that's hollow. you can usually find part of a broken fishing rod at popular fishing spots. I've use one for years and it's great: )
