Gordon Ramsay's never gonna read my comment, but I'm a guitar player and you know what The thing he says here about cutting an onion and it's not about speed, that's what John Petrucci says in his Rock Discipline videos: practise to a metronome at ridiculously slow speeds and then, when you've mastered your picking technique at a low speed, up the speed of the metronome a bit until you feel comfortable with that; etc; etc; etc. Trying to play (or cut an onion) at dangerous speeds (as far as the onion and the knive's concerned) at the get-go, you're gonna get in trouble. You'll be outta time (or in the onion's case: the slices are gonna be inconsistent, you'd hurt youself (guitar-wise: palm injury, whilst chopping an onion too fast: probably the same thing and the risk of cutting yourself; etc. Great stuff to learn here and I'm a lousy cook, to be honest! I LOVE cooking and I've made some nice dishes, but compared to this bloke. I'm still an absolute beginner. I'm doing better on the guitar, that's for sure. :P Cooking and playing music have so much in common at times! Choosing the right ingredients (instruments, composing the dish; etc; etc. I know for sure that, if Gordon didn't fall in love with cooking and went to see a Pink Floyd show, or whatever, he'd go that route and become a master on the guitar, haha. ;) That's why Gordon's also my biggest musical hero and he'd probably ask me: WHY! Well.

He is amazing and just as influential as Julia child and the like but he has been in media to long that the media training has started to make him seem like an a$$. These interviews are supposed and others like hot ones are supposed to have them be more personable and human and he has just spat out the most basic answers with zero detail. We get it your super famous, an amazing chef and seem like a good person/father but also get over yourself and admit your flaws and mistakes

Regarding the baking question, it's not a matter of ability it's a matter of baking well. I consider myself a good chef, but I cannot bake bread as good as someone dedicated to the craft, nor can I make a cake. It's a weirdly different skillset. Some bakers are absolute artists when it comes to baking. It's like how there are different kinds of engineers.

I think a lot of chefs are going to have their achiles heel at some point.
Gordon's is grilled cheese.
Marco's is using those Knorr stock cubes.
PlayboyGang Puck.
Martha Stewart's jail adventures.
Jamie being alive.
You know. It comes around at some point.

The grilled cheese sandwich will haunt him forever. The pretentiousness of that bit was hilarious but he didn't see it. A lukewarm sandwich with horrible cheese that was far too big to eat. Some dishes are meant to be simple and REMAIN SIMPLE.

I love Gordon and I usually love the auto complete show, but for some reason, and I do mean the editing, it lacked the instrumental fill between the questions and the usual vibe of the show. Like. What happened with this one.

so why has Gordon Ramsey sold out to BK with a wagyu burger.
when the UK do not have the special Japanese cows. and that the burger has very little taste difference between a standard BK burger for the price.

my questions:
1) why do u figure a couple of ur ex game show contestants unalived themselves after your emotionally manipulative shows
2) why cant u cook a grilled cheese or know its wrong at least

reply

Whenever i watch Gordon Ramsay on any show or interviews, He always gives off the vibe that that's how he is privately or behind the cam. No persona or acting infront of the cam.
reply

i feel bad for the guy who has to blep gordon the amount of times that man swears i'm surprise that no one did a drink game of amount of time dude just swears on the day.
reply

No excuses can excuse that sad try of a grilled cheese.
I don't care if you're in the desert or a snowstorm.
Just take the L, Gordon.

I think something is wrong with my audio. It sometimes skips a word. And then i hear a ) Probably gonna need a new computer. Anyone else this the same

A Gordon Ramsay cookbook that only uses a microwave and a single burner hot plate for college students and people with tiny apartments would be amazing.
reply

4: 23 THE GOAT HAS SPOKEN
This is what ive been saying. Microwaves should only be used to reheat. People who cook in microwaves are psychopaths

reply

Marco Pierre White
And by the way, I am the biggest Gordon glazer, but he was naughty by being dishonest and we need to set the record straight.

reply

One of the questions should be, why does he put peas in a italian carbonara. Why he says to cut the end of onion last for not crying when its a lie
reply

I really like Gordon. You can tell that it is never an act with him. Doesn't matter if he is strict, funny or nice he is always sincere
reply

When it said 'Does Gordon Ramsay ever use a microwave' I originally thought it said 'microphone'. Because he's always screaming.
reply

He does so many shows he listed seven. However, he didn't mention Next Level Chef, so count that one too (total eight shows. :)
reply

By the way, it was Marco Pierre White who made him cry because he dodged that answer. It's no big deal admitting you cry btw.
