The game recognizing our actions is what makes most mgs games fun to me.
Hey Colonel, I've just shot a bird, what do you think
Hey Pliskin, I've just defused the third bomb, it was super hard to find, what do you think
I want the codec call feature to be back again

You want to do hard scifi or western How about a scifi western Private company is the first to colonize a planet and this is the wild west, governments on Earth demand taxes and the ability to set the rules, private company says fk that and the first interplanetary human war begins.

This interview low key helped me learn that Hideo Kojima is just a guy with a lot of passion, creativity and experience. I mean I knew he had those things but this both helped me appreciate his works more but also to see him as just a guy. Which is great I think
reply

I gotta be honest this guy really seems like he has no idea what he wants to say. For as interesting as his games can sometimes be, I don't think I've been so dissatisfied by any other director as I have by him and every interview I've seen, read or heard.
reply

I'm not saying I've seen all of these Wired XYZ answers questions videos, but these are by far the most clever, interesting and original questions directed to someone, especially a game designer/developer as iconic as he is.
reply

Why didn't they ask why he decided it was a good idea to make a mail delivery service into a video game, camouflage it as something else, and thought that concept fit in with everything else he's done
reply

I feel all these questions don't apply to death stranding. How much love did he have for death stranding Didn't he know everyone walks enough in reality that we didn't want to return to that
reply

Kojima really has done so much for both the world of film and gaming. He’s married the two and brought games into a new era for both storytelling and gameplay. What a legend.
reply

His Japanese is in the Kansai dialect, so he speaks in a very friendly way.
Thanks to that, even though he is a truly great person, he doesn’t make people feel nervous.

reply

Games nowadays is being dumbdown into waifu collection, gacha, micro transactions, skins and zero story and plot like Genshit Impact or ZenlessShitzero goonergames
reply

I love the fact that he's explaining Super Mario gameplay mechanics like it was some super obscure japanese game that no one has ever heard about. 10: 20
reply

I hope he continues to make games. Even if they're odd, he's the only one actually innovating and doing new things in this day and age of gaming.
reply

I really hope that he is aware of the admiration and appreciation that he has earned.
He is not only as a game dev, but a gamer at heart. One of us!

reply

He looks like he hasn't aged in over thirty years. This guy is 62 years old and he's somehow found a way to Benjamin Button himself through time.
reply

Death stranding is the most boring piece of crp game I ever wasted money on.
Never buying any hidey kiddionga game ever again!

reply

Aveces me digo a mi mismo 'para Kojima no puedes crear to el rato' se hizo canon! Borja necesitamos este video editado si o si.
reply

8: 55 Gaming is a service industry so you need a hospitality mindset.
Maybe one day we’ll realize how truly profound this is.

reply

Never understood the love for this creator. Only thing he creates is incredible amount of CRINGE. All his games - PURE CRINGE
reply

Kojima saying he’d like to adapt Predator: Badlands takes on a whoooole different meaning once you complete Death Stranding 2.
reply
