Arthas Takes Frostmourne & Becomes Lich King. All Cinematics. World of Warcraft. In pursuit of vengeance, the once Crown Prince of Lordaeron purged the city of Stratholme, sailed to Northrend, took the cursed blade of Frostmourne, slayed Mal'ganis & returned to scourge his homeland. After slaying Uther & raising Sylvanas and his citizens in undeath, he returned to become the Lich King.

coreyloucks4865 Technically arthas didn’t actually kill Illidan. He defeated him, but it was malfurian, tyranus, and the warden who caused him to lose and be banished. If he died by arthas hand we never would’ve been able to defeat him at the black temple.

marvead2207 arthas is the best character in wawcraft history, mainly because a very big portion of lore is connected to him and the consequences of what he did. truly a masterpiece of character

vrinnmetagen what do yall feel about arthas' soul being burned up to nothing idk i think they should have brought him back as someone who had a storyline in the maw or something
