this was the chance for lightforged to shine. the exodar is the last major alliance bastion still standing in kalimdor and that northern sea and darkshore are critical to alliance foothold. I am hordie but velen should be deploying the vindicar, while also letting tyrande know of illidans sacrifice and not wanting it to go in vain. there was lots of story there and for him to say nothing is a let down. imagine vindicar vs. azshara goblin nuke, with another mutual destruction incident like in lordaeron

At a time like this Anduin should've manned up and ordered Tyrande to cease her actions or face consequences, consequences that would entail imprisonment for treason of which either resulted in a bloody massacre in the throne room and real treason committed, or she accepts such actions and is imprisoned in the Stockades and tensions rise between the alliance and the Kal'dorei. Either way it would result in tensions rising astronomically.

Glad to see the true leaders of the Alliance take action, I never thought Anduin deserved the mantle of the Alliance, he was a Human prince, Varian earned his right to lead the conjoined races, but his son inherited all in name alone? (to begin with) At the start of legion I definitely though Malfurion and Tyrande deserved to be the leaders of the Alliance, but, Humans are the superior race it seems.

Seriously? Shes a high priestess whos kept a level head and lived ten thousand years. But patience eludes her now? They just decided to make her impetuous?
Her decision makes no sense from a tactical standpoint. No great leader would have done that. Shes walking her people into a slaughter because she doesnt have the patience to wait for the right opportunity. Where the hell is Malfurion?

yea, don't get your hopes up.
ALL devs in important positions play Horde and are either fanatic orc supremacists, or in love with Sylvanas. Heck, the senior storywriter roleplays himself as Nathanos and the new model is based on his rl looks. They also openly stated they hate nelves. (even though it's obvious anyway and has been since Cataclysm)

wait. so anduin doesnt want to fight at the darkshore to not thin out forces - so the nightelves and worgen are off by themselfs, which thins out the forces anyway?
this is either unintentionally and theirfor very bad storywriting, or blizzard just wanted alduin to look like the worst leader ever

Blizzard forgot their own lore and how old Tyrande is. She fought during the War of the Ancient and saw the entire world being ripped apart and the Kaldorei empire fall into the sea. But Sylvanas burning the tree is apparently what gets under her skin and makes her curse Elune? Okay.

I would like to know what are the draenei doing with that flying war machine? Or have blizzard forgot about it? Or more likely, does blizzard want to have the alliance have there butts kicked more before they finally decide to let the draenei use it?

I must say, these must be some of the most progressive leaders I have ever seen. Sylvanas faction leaders seem to be openly plotting against her, but she doesn't really seem bothered. While Anduin forces seem to be in open revolt, off doing there own things.

For those who don't know, this is exactly what Sylvanas's plan was when she attacked Teldrassil. To split the alliance. She was sure the Night Elves would defend their land and that the Gilneans would join them because the owe the Night Elves so much.

Considering that there's still Sylvanas loyalists in the Horde and last I checked the Horde hasn't vacated the Night Elf owned parts of Kalimdor, Tyrande has good reason not to be satisfied with the arrangement.

Tyrande being Tyrande. Anduin being too pragmatic too deliver a good dose of leadership and inspiration. Varian wouldn't put up with that kind of back talk kid. Better step up and fill your old mans shoes.

What kind of King allows one of his greatest allies to walk away without at least offering a better deal instead of -ask for patience a little longer-? This is why Greymane practically walks all over him.

Yet during the cinematics for the Teldrassil burning there were Alliance banners in the background, with dead Alliance soldiers. Clearly defending Teldrassil?

I want Tyrande to behead that annoying teenager and take over the Alliance. She has over 10, 000 years of experience and the help from wild gods and Elune.

Anduin gives an order. Alliance leaders complain and do what they want instead.
Sylvanas gives an order. Horde leaders complain and bend the knee.

She and her husband can wipe
out half the population of horde by themselves, but too bad Blizzard is too fixated on 'balancing' the storyline.

Good cutscene.
I think it is time they update the rug in that room though. That is really looking 2004, if you know what I mean. Oof.

I have a question: Does anyone remember Varian's sword being that big? Anduin is carrying on his back and it is almost as tall as him.

Finally someone to oppose the orders of the Vrynn. Other Alliance races have been overshadowed by humans for too long.
