Say what you will about Raszageth but I think she was a pretty good villain despite the short amount of time we saw her. Remember that unlike expansions like Legion and Shadowlands this whole expansion isn't centered around a single goal of destroying the Incarnates. It's about the Dragons rediscovering their homelands and the dangers brought with it whether it's the Djaradin, Incarnates or the Sundered Flame rebels. The Incarnates may have the spotlight right now but Raszageth had a role and she filled it. Through Raszageth, we found out about the Incarnates and a decent amount of Dragon history was uncovered with a civil war and all. I honestly loved Raszageth because she told us the story and honestly had some good points. Raszageth's role was basically to introduce us to the story while also being a threat, she's only the first threat we face. Raszageth was the youngest and probably weakest of the Incarnates and depending on how good Blizzard's writing is this expansion the others will not be as easy to subdue since they learned from Raszageth's mistake of trying to release them too quickly.
However, Blizzard really underestimates how much people read their lore and since I doubt many of you know, Proto-dragons didn't just exist since the beginning of Azeroth. During the war against the Black Empire, the Titan Keepers fought against the Elemental Lords and pushed them into the Elemental Planes. The elementals that remained slowly turned into the Proto-drakes and with Titan intervention after the death of Galakrond, they became the Dragons we know today. This explains why the Proto-drakes we come across in Dragonflight look like they resemble elementals.

So it feels like Raza thinks she was betrayed and maybe rightfully so Ala accepted the titans gift and Raza wanted to continue drawing her power from the ones that created them. It feels like the primals didn-t like this maybe and so Ala began a campaign of forcing the titan order on everyone so the planet wouldn-t be chaotic in her eyes based with the new power and knowledge she obtained. But possibly not all the dragons felt that way and some liked the world the way it was. You just had two opposing viewpoints with one side feeling persecuted for existing and it didn-t help that the same side got locked away, only fueled them even more. Really if you think about it the titans did in their own way corrupt them because the primals were there first it was their home and the titans sought to bring order to them when they didn-t want it.

Sibling vs Sibling, again. Another -Powerful Entity- breaks out of prison. We've literally fought Old Gods, which are far more powerful than the Primal Dragons- so I guess we're taking a step back on the wrung of the enemy danger level ladder and still struggling. Glad I quit, gonna love the end of the expansion when the Old Gods rise up once more and we have to help the Primalists fight them or find out they're all corrupted by one.

I'm a big lore fan, SL crushed all my hope for a decent lore and DF is doing no better.
Having said all that, DF by far has the best zones even for antiquated wow engine, it all looks beautiful. I have long forgotten the story which I enjoyed all the way to the end of legion. I now play DF purely for the content it provides and so far, I'm very happy.
There is still that lingering hope for the lore to get better.

Really makes me go -So the aspects never did anything useful? -. Okay, sure they stop Galakrond but that was before getting the upgrade. They get the upgrade and barely manage to beat the unpowered flights, can't beat the demons, Don't stop the orc invasion, can't stop Kelthuzad from killing like 1/5th of the world.
They never do anything that matters once they get empowered.

It does paint an interesting picture of Neltharion.
Even before the corruption he never did a thing without strings attached. While his actions looked heroic from afar they were anything but. Everything was about building his image and gaining leverage.

Some serious transmog fails there. That -fight- seems like an ordinary day at my workplace, all them bxtches constantly at each others throats, backstabbing and plotting only to their own desires. Art imitating life, ehehehe.

You'd think a dragon who's lived that long would know how to adjust their aim when they breath flame. They would know more then anyone how long it takes for their breath to make contact and would aim accordingly.
reply

i can't take serious at all after seeing the dragons tiny arms
all you need to do is place something of importance at a place where you need to fly and reach for it that dragon would never be able to get it

So how long was the age of mortals? 10 years? 20 years?
Somebody get fromsoft to explain to these people about how long an age should be. This isn't passing the title. This is taking a lunch break

reply

they speak like they have no strength and cant fight this enemy but i mean azoroth has hundreds of npc characters that have more strength then all of them combined at their peak
reply

after seeing Kalecgos' and this cinematic I can throw a punn here:
Alexstrasza: we have something Raszageth does not!
Kalec: Family?
Alexstrasza: HANDS!

reply

Neltharion becomes Arthas or Deathwing? Because giving into the whispers of the Old Gods for power is what caused him to become Deathwing. Arthas was wayyyy after that.
reply

Imma be honest the overly cartoony artstyle of dragonflight isn't my thing for sure. And I like wow artstyle the most out of all mmos. DF one is just kinda ass
reply

Why do the dragons look so cartoonish? I mean in the past they looked like real dragons, big and imposing. now they all look like chibi versions of themselfs.
reply

I love how when Wrathion first contested Alexstraza she takes a moment before turning around -I'm so tired of these damn kids testing me-
Big mom energy fr

2: 33 Ha ha ha ha! I have won and could easily finish this and it would all be over, but my master plan requires you live for petty reasons. . bye.
reply

You titled the chapter at 7: 43 -Neltharion becomes Arthas-. Surely you meant Deathwing? Or is this an even greater plot twist than we knew?
reply

It's funny how blizz has all female protagonists and antagonists now, male characters are all secondary and being put in the background
reply

I-m sorry but the animations look so amateurish. The shots look bad, can-t believe this is the same company that made Arthas my son.
reply

Damn, with only a sigle animatic, they made me see Deathwing. Neltharion with another eyes; now, somehow, I want to see him redeemed.
reply

WoW is starting to look like some cheap chinese phone game I swear
All that out sourcing is clearly working out great for bl-zz

reply

Why are we even fighting for alex. to me she seems like an utter prick, much like malfurion and tyrande imprisoning illidan.
reply

The outro Invincible version sounds much deeper than the one posted in description, are you sure they are the same?
reply

raw strength alex would have got her but. here comes raza with her crazy lighting and BAM the queen is down lol
reply

Is there any possibility to watch this cutscenes and cinematics without voices? (Language voice intentions)
