Vyranoth: -We took up arms together to free the world from the titans' meddling. That is the war I fight. That is the victory I seek-. Fyrakk: - -growls- We CANNOT achieve victory with our hands bound by your ideals! -successfully corrupts Larodar- Besides your ideals mean nothing to me and Iridikron, I now see that they're nothing more than just follies, and I now also see that the only way to achieve victory is to join the Void Lords and usher in the new Hour of Twilight, and with the Titans gone, we will allow the Void Lords to both enter and gained ahold of this world with their dark iron grip, and they will corrupt everyone and every creature in their path and twisting them into their cause while consuming and twisting the entire world itself with shadowflame and then Darkness and Chaos will REIGN SUPREME! That is the true war Iridikron and I now fight. And that is the real victory Iridikron and I truly seek. - Vyranoth: -Indeed. Then our course is set. - -leaves in disgust-

I absolutely adore the lore, story, characters and world building of this series. Started playing around the beginning of Wrath and been hooked on the Warcraft Universe. But I'm so burnt out on the gameplay at this point that it's impossible to justify paying the monthly fee to be apart of it. The quest design is what really kills it for me. Some quests are amazing like the ending to the Wrath Gate. But after the 935th -Go here and kill these guys oh and pick up all this random crap- it feels repetitive and dispassionate. I hate quests that exist just to pad gametime and interrupt the quests you actually want to get to with meaningless chores.

My initial prediction was that Vyranoth would be sided more with Fyrakk and Iridikron yet passive to us, only really turning into a proper enemy if/when we kill Fyrakk, seeking revenge for his death. Turns out I was wrong only in that I had things flipped. She was more passive to her brothers and only decided to turn when Fyrakk went over the deep end. A lot of the prt leaks showed us that despite her general animosity for the aspects and their flights, Wrathion take the time to actually talk to her, to know her, and even tells her of the flights that exist outside the aspects' influence.

HATE HER! I HATE HER I HATE HER! I hate her character design so much! Jaina got her braid that lead to her Ardenweald Winter Queen Skin, now she's getting the dragon counterpart, Winter Queen Ice shard Skin. So lazy it makes me mad, horrible work from the artist team, horrible model choices, horrible ideas, the once overwhelmingly rich world is being tainted by the habit of reusing same concepts, exact same ideas exact same vibes, the stoic b1tch with ice realted powers using female human model and a braid, can't you see how lackluster this is.

2: 03 story is, of course, nu-blizzard trash but this is always an interesting dilemma, obviously waved off here. Pragmatists/hypocrites view adhering to principle(s) as shackling, rather than sustainable. For example not killing (excepting retribution) is a solid principle because free killing = unsustainable but the hypocrite will say -not killing (not as retribution) makes my life harder so I toss out the principle- adopting and subjecting himself to the new principle of free killing.

I still don-t get how Alexstrasza failed her people. Its completely different from what lore we-ve had for years points to, what Dragonflight: Legacies even points to, that the ascension into dragons (earlier than theyd evolve into them anyway) was a gift, and taken gladly. I-m fairly certain even the old novel touches on that. Granted, its not as blatant and aggravating as what Shadowlands did, but is not sitting right with me

Love the cutscene with Nozdomu and the whelp but the scene with the incarnate I really feel like it's being rushed all over again and whatever happened to the dracthyr? I thought her realization would have taken a little bit longer or at least like a couple expansions but it feels like they're doing the same thing what they did with neltharion's laboratory really not giving us a moment to like prosper what's going on

This shit was horribly bad. Vyranoth like Fyrakk was locked up for thousands of years. Fyrakk acts like someone who has locked up and is mad about it, he wants to burn down the people that sealed him away. Vyranoth is just seemingly ok with it and the terrible writers just had her and Alexstraza just talk it out like Alexstraza didn't just help a bunch of adventures kill her sister, Razageth.
Made no sense.

People keep saying that Vryanoth switching sides is rushed, but realistically, weren't all the Incarnates actually on the same side as the Aspects in the past? They aren't just some random Dragons that showed up from nowhere. Their backstory is that they were literally like siblings to the Aspects before the Titans came and 'corrupted' dragonkind.

At first I thought 'ok clearly shes bideing her time to strike at Alexstraza and take the 'Queen' off the board' but then I read that she is helping Wrathion bring the storm drakes and nether drakes into the alliance so I guess she's actually sincere. unless were about to get some patented Blizzard 'subversion of expectations', time will tell.

It'd be pretty funny if vyranoth betrays alexstrasza just because. Now that'd be very interesting for me. While I find dragonflight's story at least interesting, I can't help but get a really untrusted vibe from vyranoth herself. Don't know but I feel as if she's shady.

Just wondering. 1: 27. This ice creature is mentioning some -vile abomination- with the captured deer-druid-shit in front of her.
Isn't it a bit weird to say something about abominations while seeng this filthy beast (the ex-deer-druid itself.

I mean I saw Vyranoth joining us coming but I thought that'd be later, I can't say I expected freaking Elisande to come back into the plot though, I guess we'll be fighting her again (though it'll probably be a quest or dungeon this time)

This damn shitty small thing i hate her. Better if they put some dwarf character pike Bronzby than that thing. Dragonflight seems more and more focused on children with this playful vibe than on just being a good game. Man. Come on dude

Whilst this is definitely an upgrade over SL. It's still elementary school writing. Slow, predictable with no real deepths. The old bad turns good and one of the baddies redeems herself. Seen again and again and again.

I mean. It really looks like she was going to do something like that and she was the closest to Alex back then so. Sadly, I think she's going to die regardless, maybe saving Alex from Iridikron or as a sacrifice

I do feel like the possibility of Nozdormu becoming Murozond in this expansion is still alive, especially after seeing this. I feel like part of his transformation will be his own choice from the looks of it.

I hope Vyranoth is the last one standing and remains a villain. WoW lacks villains with genuine sympathetic causes. I fear she'll turn anti-hero, and it'll be quite interesting, but could have been more.

every power role is female now, every villain seems weak willed, story is absolute trash and uninteresting.
my day is ruined and my disappointment is immeasurable, no pun intended

The music in Tyr's Guard scene is one bit of Storm Peaks' theme. -Which is, honestly, unsurprising, given that Storm Peaks held quite a few references to Watcher Tyr.

I get that Vryanoth didn-t really do anything, but her switch felt too fast for me. I hope she either betrays us or is killed by Iridkron to prove a point

I HAD a feeling and predicted that Vyranoth was going to betray the Incarnates after this scene when Fyrakk was going too far in front of her eyes.

WoW lore has become softer than baby shit.
Remember the SoO cinematic after defeating Garrosh? Where's that kind of peace talk?

I really hate this millennial writing. Why would she switch sides like that? She just gave up on her entire cause in an instant!
