This was one of the first classic literature books I had ever read which led me down a rabbit hole of Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights ah what a time to be in during these books first publishings. I bet these books blew the minds of many.

I heard somewhere that the author actually meant the doctor's name to be pronounced Jeekel. Not sure if it's true but it's almost impossible for me to pronounce it any other way I've done it so long

I’ve always use Jekyll and Hyde to describe my alcoholism mixed with ptsd depression and anxiety I have the images of the characters tattooed on my right arm as a reminder of the demon inside
