The fifth book in the Amber series, 'The Courts of Chaos' by Roger Zelazny, follows the story of Prince Corwin as he fights the inevitable final battle against the Dark Lands. The book will clear up mysteries such as why the magical pattern holds the kingdom of Amber together and if Amber will triumph over the dark lands. The story is about the royal family of Amber fighting for control of the throne, with the king having disappeared and the powerful but eccentric wizard who may have had a hand in his disappearance not revealing any information. The royal family can visit Earth at their leisure, but no Earthling can cross over. The book was originally serialized in Galaxy magazine and was issued by NLS on cassette in 1980. The story is a continuation of the previous four books in the series and will answer many questions that have been building up throughout the series.
