I read this book probably 3 to 5 times in my lifetime and I still for the life of me cannot decide if I like it or not even though I am literally listening to it again, and interestingly posting a comment. So, if there’s any psychiatrist or psychologists outout there, that knows why people like me, do this, chime on in.

I absolutely loved this book, definately one of my all time favorites. Sadly I listened 2 months ago to it and will have to wait some time to listen to it again, 100% recommendation and if you liked the stand from stephen king you are most likely going to enjoy this one aswell.

One of my favorite books! I read it for the first time when I was 14 and again in my early twenties! Now forty five and listening to it while I refurbish old wooden furniture and still just as good as the first time

How could there already be wolf dogs so early in this post apocalyptic world logically it would take at least two years for that sort of animal to develop in all this.

It completely immerses me in that world. I know the characters and the town. It brings the unfamiliar, the supernatural into my world. Very few books have that effect

I remember seeing this book years and years ago but haven't been able to find this until now. This story has a taste of Randell Flag and that of insanity.

This is as good as, if not better than The Stand. One of the very very best horror apocalypse stories that holds up today! THANK YOU for posting this

I have the most recent recording of this, it is one of my all time favourite audiobooks, and it will be fun to listen to an older recording.

I like to picture Robert Deniro's character in Cape Fear as the man who liked movies. That laugh still terrifies me.

Read it twice. Robert McCammon's Swan Song triumphs where Stephen King's The Stand failed and fizzled.

Read this book twice over the years. One of the best post apocalypse stories ever written. Thank you.
