Hey, if any of you out there either experience mistreatment under a cruel stepmothers, work as penniless streetwalkers (in LA but with New Yawk accents, are single mom motel maids or, for that matter, own failing children's bookstores, identify as arty outcasts, or are reporters on the trail of exclusive stories with reclusive billionaires AND you meet gorgeous mega-rich saviors who adore you, call me from the institution in which you are housed and tell me all about it!

Am I the only one confused aboud Bennets. They werent as rich as Darcy but they werent poor! They had staff, quite big house and not as bad dresses. Ok in 2005 version Elizabeth looked poor but looking at book standards she wasn't really that poor

Do y'all rate black films? I've watched countless of your movies recommendations and no black films are included, I've only seen pursuit of Happiness, black people have some incredible movies as well, don't be prejudice

I have to vote against Cinderella because she isn-t poor just treated poorly after father died. Pride & prejudice again not poor but family with less means than the rich guy.

Pride and Prejudice is my #1 on this list. Cinderella is my 2nd. So are Maid in Manhattan and Pretty Woman. - Haven't seen Memoirs of a Geisha. Will rent it from library.

I love Memoirs of a Geisha. I-m sure they got some things culturally wrong but I still think it-s great movie with great story. Water is always in such a hurry.

Maid in Manhattan is number one for me reason being love Jennifer Lopez and kids can watch it
Pretty woman number two
Then pride and prejudice

Ok what about
1. 50 shades of Grey?
2. A Christmas prince
3. Breakfast at Tiffany-s
4. The Great Gatsby
5. 365 Days

reply

Dude, you're kidding me. Why is not there a fifty shades of grey feature in your list. You can't possibly top that!
reply

Terrible. Sabrina didn't even make the list. Instead, the worst version of P&P ever made is number one. Yikes.
reply

isn't it sad that I saw all of this movies and can't find other movies that are as amazing as they are
