I don't agree with your list. No where among your list or your honorable mentions, do you include -Grand Prix-, a 1966 classic featuring James Gardner, as Pete Aron, Yves Montand as Jean-Pierre Sarti, Brian Bedford as Scott Stoddard and Jessica Walter, as Pat Stoddard.
This breathe-taking drama, takes a introspective look at the motives and character of a formula 1 driver as well as the perils of their personal lives. And in this way, forms the mud, silt, and clay of movies that come after it.

Top 3 in no particular order. Ford vs Ferrari, 1971 Le Mans, 1966 Grand Prix, Next somewhere in the line up; -Rush- 2013, 2001 'driven', 2016 -Blink of an Eye-, 'days of thunder- and spoof off other that 'Talladega nights', Elvis -speedway-, Fabian -wild racers- 'Snake & Mongoose' 2013, . Last would be the 3 Pixar movies -cars- & Herbie series. List of auto racing films on WIKI. And many other documentaries on you tube. 1970 Darlington Southern 500, Drag Racing Dreams etc.

Wow. you make a video to help people find good movies, and list only the most bloated, brainless crap. Only thing that is actually good that is listed is Ford V Ferrari.
But then again, average IQ is rapidly dropping, so I guess most viewers don't even have the capacity to recognize and appreciate good screenplay.

Missing is the 1971 movie -Le Mans- with Steve McQueen and the 1966 movie -Grand Prix- with James Garner and a few real pilots like Graham Hill, Jack Brabham, Jim Clark, Jack Watson, Bruce McLaren, Jochen Rindt. Those were racing movies.

I don't think Rush is the best racing film. I think FvF deserves that spot. The racing sequence in Rush is not that good. Hans Zimmer's music saved it. But still, Rush is one of the best drama films.

You really lost me early in this list. Death Race and Need For Speed. If that-s your idea of racing movies?
I don-t need to see anymore. Definitely two lousy movies for sure.

there is a big confusion in the selection: is not the same thing a sport race driver, like Rush and run in the streets like Fast and furious, better selection for next time

Days of Thunder is way too low on this list! The fact Driven is not on the list also indicates there are others more worthy than some of your pics.

How is the fast and the furious and Days of Thunder that low. Those two are gemstones. One for street racing and the other for stock car racing

List would have been perfect if you hadn't included the fast and furious films. Sure there great movies but they don't count as racing films
