Based on IMDB rankings 1. Archer 8. 6/10, 14 seasons 2. Person of Interest 8. 5/10 5 seasons 3. The Americans 8. 4/10 6 seasons. 4. Homeland 8. 3/10. 8 seasons. 5. MI-5 (aka Spooks) 8. 3/10 10 seasons. 6. Chuck 8. 2/10. 5 seasons. 7. The Blacklist 8. 0/10. 10 seasons. 8. Agent Carter 7. 8/10. 2 seasons. 9. Alias 7. 6/10. 5 seasons. 10. Covert Affairs 7. 3/10 5 seasons. This is a better list IMHO. .. my clear favorite is MI-5 maybe the best tv show ever made. based on the number of people ranking it. It is the least well known on this list.

Jack Ryan and 24 are the only ones I have even briefly seen, let alone heard of; better choices would be classics like I Spy or The Man From Uncle or The Avengers or The Saint; Get Smart for comedic spy show

'Deutschland 83' is a brilliant espionage series set in 1983 Cold War is enlightening and entertaining. Also 'Deutschland '86' and '89' when the wall comes down. Highly rated.

the best series by far was the agency it was freightingly realistic and had an intresting moral grey feel. a pity it was canceled to soon.
