How to construct, draw and render a female superhero tutorial Christopher: I think this was interesting on the shading. I was actually surprised that you did not go further more on the shading in the uniform and the cape more to distinguish the light source. Then other spots I was surprised did ink in large spots and parts of the face did not have much of any shadows to show where the hair or light source was. The cape what here the sharpie inking confused me the most because it was all very top heavy on the coloring rather than going more vertical and curved lines on the cape to distinguish movement in #Supergil's cape.

Hello James! Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm becoming more and more interested in drawing, comics in particular. I'm not a professionnal. at all. I'm not very young (ahah, but drawing is my way to relax. I really had a great time with this tuto, let me tell you, and I'm even quite happy with myself. thanks to you! Looking forward to watch more of your videos soon!

I really like how this turned out. The uniform how it was rendered reminded me of a Star Trek uniform with the little thin lines that made it look like seems. Thr hair looks Great. Too me the neck looks a touch too tall and thick. Might be just me. The skirt at first reminded me of Roman soldier armor before you went in with the sharpie.

Very cool! I tried to follow in real time from stick figure to shading (what could I do better on a Saturday at 7: 30: ) ) My drawing looks different but I think I got the idea. What I liked most was to learn how to do the shading all with ink pens. That's how a drawing becomes life. Thanks for this tutorial! Greetings from Hamburg!

I really appreciate how tasteful and respectful you are when describing the way you draw your female characters. Big ups to being a decent gentleman. And skills to match. Don't need huge breasts and up-skirt shots to make people like your work and hide poor quality, your drawing speaks for itself.

I have a question about the S on Super Girl. Should there be a slight V shape at the top of the S to show the the dip caused from her boobs or does that depend on the type of fabric she is wearing, how solid the logo is, or how tight or loose the logo is attached to Super Girl's uniform?

I have a question: I'm learning to draw human characters ( comic book style ) anyways so the thing is should i learn the real anatomy of a body or the comic style one? ( or likely which one is important so if want to draw different styles )

Something that I've been struggling with the last couple years is to get cloth-folds right. I would love to watch/listen to a tutorial on just some simple tricks or something.
Good work with your videos though. Keep it up!

What do You think of artists That use multiple ways of holding the Pen? Unnecessary or important? Im drawing only in one stance wich Is So called called tripot i belive. Standard how You learn to write.

could you draw two figures in the same scene with different poses one male and one female.
like say sub-zero with frost from Mortal Kombat.
