LOVE Dominican, Jamaican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and other Island foods. BEST stuff ever. MUST try Mofongo now. Had oxtail for first time recently. Don't think it was spiced like it should be. Too Americanized. Want to try it! Only thing I ever had that was Dominican that I didn't like was Menudo, spice was delicious. Just can't do tripe.

Im trying to understand this video. Puerto Ricans and Dominicans both eat oxtail and mofongo. Even though mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish. Which is better really depends on who is cooking it. This should have been mofongo vs mangu as they identify Each respective culture.

I'm as white as Elmer's glue but I'd pick oxtail over roast beef. Best cut imo!
Also, he tried to rationalize it by saying you couldn't eat it every day. It's comfort food. It's not supposed to be eaten every day!

Ok hes tripping Oxtail is everything! Mofongo is ok its dry to me only if you like eating green plantain then I see why you like mofongo. I can skip over it easy but I can eat oxtail all day! Im sad Gadiel didnt stick to it better!

I'm dominican and i'll choose mofongo 100%, and in DR we eat a lot a mofongo, its so good. I like mofongo with cheese on top and caldito. mm so good!

When you add mayonnaise and ketchup to your mofongo something is wrong. WTH? I don't usually taste oxtail but it's a delicious plate.
