If your friend can't trust you when you've shown you have nothing to hide, there's not much else you can do change that. The problem sounds like it's down to some deep rooted trust issues your friend has, which could be something that's happened in the past, or even due to her current relationship if it's toxic. Even though it's not your responsibility, if she is or was once a good friend, it's worth seeing if she'd open up to you. Otherwise I would agree that it's just best to distance yourself from the whole situation, and hopefully she can overcome those issues and be a good friend again in future. We all need to remember to look ourselves before we try and look after others, so try and not beat yourself up over this situation, sometimes these things are just out of our control unfortunately. Maybe she should show her friend this video so the friend hears her explain her story while at the same time gets an outside perspective on the situation? She might get mad for the story being shared on a public platform but no names were shared and it s obvious the friend doesn t listen to her. Hopefully her friend realizes how unfairly paranoid she s being towards her friend. Maybe the friend s boyfriend is untrustworthy and cheating but it doesn t sound like it s with her friend.

Right you can t convince someone to believe anything when theyre not open to. Sounds like shes hell bent on it being you. She just needs to direct that energy to her bf and not the girls he talks to behind her back. Shes not a good friend frankly. Up to you if u want to give her a pass.
