Not a hidden detail but I want to share my favorite moment of the show where Matt defeated Fisk for the last time in season 3. The way he whacks Fisk's face and forced to stopped himself as he hears Vanessa screaming is wonderful. His words, or threat I should say, then screams I. BEAT YOU! declaring to Fisk that he's not what he think Matt is and always do what's right and will do anything to defeat him without taking his life.
Also, my back always hurts everytime I watched Fisk do a backbreaker to Poindexter in their fight.

2: 30 I always contextualize this as what both men truly see.
Fisk only sees the world as black-and-white, specifically him being the white light in the world, mirroring his staring at a white wall moment from his childhood, while also showing that Fisk truly thinks that he is the only thing that can fix New York.
Whereas the red painting, visualizes for us, how daredevil truly sees the world given his alternate senses, while also mirroring his view on the world and how he must be a driving force within it.

Poindexter (Bullseye) didn't 'miss' a belt loop. That is a concealed carry option for his duty-issue handgun. If someone wants to balance concealment with ease of drawing it and still have a secure fit, that's exactly what he would do. That fits his character in the show perfectly. It is not concealed 100%, but it's much faster for him to draw his weapon. Him 'missing' that loop is a juxtaposition between his closed off/reserved FBI good guy persona and his brazen/quick action killer instinct.

You’ll have to forgive me but how Disney and Marvel has treated daredevil and kingpin in the echo and she hulk show I’ve not got faith in this new show as so far Marvel and Disney have not showed them any respect.
It’s not the actors fault as they have both shown that they can do the roles fantastically when they are given good stuff to work with and that’s the problem those shows had nothing to work with not even for their lead roles.

I re-watched the first and second seasons of Daredevil a few months ago. Then I started re-watching The Defenders miniseries three days ago. Obviously, I'm going to re-watch the third season of Daredevil after I finish re-watching The Defenders. So, Canadian Lad, this video is a real surprise that I obviously enjoyed! It's about time Daredevil got the same respect you've given other superheroes!

Another detail I learned recently is that Vincent D'Onofrio was the notable antagonist in Jurassic World, released just two months after Daredevil
I watched JW in theatre while watched the latter after 7 years; then I rewatched JW recently and I was like I know this dude, so familiar. oh wait xD
two characters with completely different moods; and also made me realize that Chris Pratt is huge

They can add all the curse words, bloodshed and colourful comic book accurate suits with symbols as they want. But Marvel will never make anything on the same level or even two steps below Netflix's Daredevil again as a mature crime saga. They already did their damage to Daredevil with She Hulk, Echo, and Hawkeye and I'm expecting nothing less with DD Born Again.

This isn't exactly a hidden detail, but in Daredevil season 1 after Matt rescues Claire from Vladimir's men, Claire asks Matt if he's a rich vigilante. I think this is a clear reference to Batman as Batman and Daredevil are so similar in almost every way. I think Daredevil is more of Mavel's equivalent to Batman than Iron Man or Moon Knight is.

Actually, humans have five senses _by default. _ (sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste)
This is why the term _sixth sense_ means knowing/predicting something without using any of your five regular senses. (in this regard, the spider-sense is a sixth sense)
So _Five Senses_ actually alludes to Matt still being able to see despite being blind.

idk if anyone else noticed or maybe its just me reading into it too much, but in the court scene in season 2 with the punisher when matt started to question him he asked if he could call him frank. and when matt said his name frank took a second then said yes which i saw as frank realizing matt is actually daredevil.

Cybertek was also the manufacturer of the Deathlok project, who Mike Peterson was chosen as a puppet for HYDRA in Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. He would later break free of HYDRA's blackmailing with the help of Coulson and his team as a side mission. ABC/Marvel shows with their own unique ties in the MCU, I love it.

08: 26 It is probably Pointdexter's reflection of character. He wants to fix the surroundings by killing what makes chaos and he does not like. That's why his home and everything is decorated. But he does not give attention to fix his inner bad qualities like killing people. So his own belt is not worn properly.

Since you covered this, I would really like if you did a video on Legion. I feel like not many ppl know about this show, but I absolutely loved it.
This and Daredevil were the two marvel's shows that made me ponder on life the most, and Legion specifically is like nothing I have ever seen b4.

Hi Canadian Lad, I know 'Agatha' is not that good, but since it's connected to other stories in the MCU, could you please make a summary video of the series, explaining what's happening, the effect of Agatha incidents, and their connection to other MCU things when the show ends

oh you beauty covering Daredevil my favourite character among those netflix n disney series! i cried twice while watching deadpool! The ability to hear things from far and know if someones lying is so sick people dont realise! I love daredevil and everything in all seasons

9: 00 That isn't the only reference to the MCU in Daredevil, in fact there are so many lines of dialogue in S1 where they comment about the Battle of NYC in passing, it's small details like that that got me hooked in the show all that time ago.

The paintings also reflect Kingpin and Daredevil's attitudes. Matt sees the world on fire and his glasses are also red. Kingpin's painting is almost entirely white, showing that he views NY as a blank slate that he can reshape as he wants.

Hey lad, just a quick question. What's your favourite marvel series Loki or Daredevil. Both of them are so good and properly written that it would be a waste to call anyone of them superior to the other. But which one do you like more
