Age of Ultron is 95% Responsible For Endgame's Success
video description
On the other hand, Cap barely had a connection to Thanos. Thanos barely recognized Cap, only knowing him as the leader of the Avengers. Sure, he had a few moments with him before the 1v1. In Infinity War, Cap caught Thanos- hand and looked him straight in the eye, making Thanos recognize Cap-s strong will and heart. Hell, there was a deleted scene where Thanos beheaded 2014 Cap and threw his head to 2023 big three; only because he knew Earth saw Cap as a symbol. Pretty minuscule compared to Tony-s connection. All three characters are great, and so we-re both battles.

For me, it was watching WandaVision that actually appreciate Ultron because that seemed to help fill in a lot of gaps. I-m not sure if WV was written to help fix Ultron, but seeing how Wanda deals with her life from Ultron going forward shows why she is tragedy.
Think on it. We find out how her parents die. She and her brother had been used in experiments. She not not loses Petro, but is there when her country literally dies.
She finds comfort in Vision, as she sees the good in him, but also saw the evil in Ultron (who I don-t think is dead. Then, when Vision dies, she doesn-t have much time to grieve because she is snapped. She comes back alive in Endgame, and then a few weeks later, the events of WV occur. All because she had zero time to fully to deal with her losses.
WV makes Ultron a better movie than what we really got when it came out.

Yep, I was recently watching all the films again. I always liked Age of Ultron so I never realized there were people who didn't. XD But rewatching it I was like shit. Tony mentioned EndGame, Wanda's mind manips that showed Tony and Thor a possible decimated future. It's funny how people subconsciously remember and react to the payoffs but don't realize they reacted so until rewatching the franchise again.

It did its job. It was confusing and hard to follow at the time, in my opinion, so I didn't like it as much, but now, it's obviously the glue that ties the whole series of movies together. It's a turning point, a darkening, a blurring of black and white that will add to confusion until the final battle of morality against Thanos.

Nice defense of the film. But Whedon's Age/Ultron is still a disappointing movie.
Why do you think Feige chose the Russo's to do Avengers 3 and 4 over Whedon anyway?
It was this decision that prompted Whedon to jump to JL in the wake of Snyder's failure instead.
And the rest - is history.

When you realise that none of the refferance was acually related to ultron, but just some movie shots and clips in between avengers members. and so, this video was manipulative. come on. you can literally find these referances in every avenger movie and even in some solo movies.

I love how every new Marvel movie covers up the previous movies' mistakes/plot holes. Like.
massive destruction in Avengers 1&2? Start of Civil War.
boring AoU with incoherent dialogues? Turn out to be prophesies of Endgame.
dummy Mandarin in Iron Man 3? Fixed in Shang Chi.

Captain America said that Tony wouldn't make the sacrifice play but Tony did.
Tony said that everything special about Captain America came out of a bottle but it turned out that he was always worthy, even before he became Captain America.

I gotta say it, as cool as Cap's -Avengers Assemble- scene was for us (the audience) it would have sucked for anyone who wasn't directly next to Cap
-Avengers! . -
-What did he say? -
-I dunno, OH SHIT we're charging in! Let's Go! -

You can polish a turd all you want, age of Ultron was still a turd.
Super corny, terrible jokes, boring, predictable story, same easy to beat enemies like the last one. Just was not good. Ruined 1of the best villains too
