That's crazy, cuz I commented about random dream I had like 7 months ago about Spider-man fighting Hulk in Spider-man 4.
Dunno why I dreamt that, but I get correct premonitions a lot, so it may mean something. Lol
Here was my original comment.
[December, 12th 2024. ]
_Yo, I had a crazy ass dream last night of Spider-man 4. _
_It was a massive, sick battle between rage Hulk & Spidey. _
_Hulk had got some of the symbiote and lost control, becoming some kinda Venom-Hulk monster, then Spidey (wit his own black suit symbiote) had to fight Hulk to get it off of him WHILE tryna save MJ from Venom-Hulk. _
_Then after that, Spidey had to fight himself to get the symbiote off and lock it away somewhere. _
_And yes, it was obv Tom's Peter, Zendaya's MJ (Who eventually, somehow remembered Peter) & Ruffalo's Banner & like the 2012 Avengers rage Hulk. Not the current Professor Hulk. _
_Ik this ain't happening, it's jus an awesome, random dream I jus had. And you kno, you can't really control what you'll randomly dream about. Lol_

Here's my thought: what Marvel has done from the beginning is keep Spider-Man’s story at its own separate pace, while always making sure that Spider -Man collaborates with big fan-favourite characters in the films, like Tony, Happy, Fury, and the old Spider-Men. It's something similar to the Ultimate Spider-Man TV series. In that way, they can keep experimenting in the MCU without touching or harming Spider-Man’s storyline.
What Hulk and Punisher are doing: maybe they're just side characters, like extended cameos in some quest of the film. I've read somewhere that Hulk used to remember Peter even after Peter erased the whole world’s memory about his secret identity in the comics. So maybe the same thing happens here as well. Punisher is there because maybe there's some ground level quest too. And at the end, or most likely in the post credit scenes, the film will connect to Doomsday, or more likely, the middle of Doomsday, because I think Spider-Man will appear in the last part or middle of the film.

We really don't need to see Tom's Spider-man origin story, not after twenty-five years of Spider-man movies.
Bruce and Peter are both scientists, as you've said, so if Mr. Negative is in the film the writers could easily make a scientific connection to that villain and some kind of experiment that Bruce was working on, which Peter could pick up on after his first confrontation with Mr. Negative and go visit Bruce to try to get some answers. Bruce has learned about Spider-man but, as far as we know, never knew Peter is Spider-man. So it'd be interesting if Peter has to reveal pre-No Way Home details to Bruce about Hulk's time with the Avengers. Your theory that Mr. Negative might create Grey Hulk would probably work and m, I hope, may cause Smart Hulk to revert back to Prime Hulk-Bruce for Doomsday & Secret Wars, which I hope happens because this version of Smart Hulk is just a goof.
Personally, I never liked the Punisher.

This movie can be abt inner demons so to speak. Peter can get the symbiote and sort of use it as a coping mechanism to help him get over aunt Mays death. He’ll distract himself with being Spider-Man but will slowly lose himself in that. Frank has some serious issues too and I can imagine him stealing a war machine suit and going on a rampage. Hulk is a character who’s literally about duality and living with a monster inside of him so the script writes itself. Tie in some addiction subplots with the symbiote for Peter and for Frank really. Martin Li will really add to the tension as well bringing out the worst in the characters. Frank doesn’t want to stop what he does and really, he can’t. This is cooking up to be one of the best Spider-Man movies ever made if they can pull it off

Good intentions. No evidence. The Spider-Man show on Disney had more clues than this Bruce is the only person left with multiverse travel in the world. It’s a choice of him or Ant Man. And this is still the multiverse saga (as much as people hate that. No origin story. He made his outfit, he restarted his life, the whole world has moved on. I hope you are completely wrong.
They wouldn’t even introduce an origin story for Fantastic 4 because we are all exhausted.

i kinda figured once the punisher's spotlight is over and because its a spotlight and not his own show that spiderman will appear near the end to put a stop to the punisher only to find out he needs the punisher's help to take down Bruce who experimented on himself again to get hulk to return as hulk and he loses his mind. there is still a venom symbiote out there so i bet peter gets the venom suit and the punisher comes to stop spidy the same way he did dare devil

I really hope that's exactly what happens. I love Martin Li. He's one of the best executed marvel characters in my opinion in the insomniac games. I hope they cast the guy, that perfected him in those games. And this movie will give me something, that Thunderbolts has. A bunch of random characters from the past MCU projects playing a major role in one movie. That's exactly what I want to see!

Yeah this ain't never going to happen, you need actual good smart writers in order to do a story like that. Unfortunately they hired the same dumb awful writers of the last two movies that love turning the main character into an idiot in order to make the plot happen. Not to mention they're god awful at writing side characters.

also bruce was a product of it, except they used gamma rays instead of vita-rays in Captain America 1, that turned him into hulk

I hope that venom teaser with the symbiote being left in the MCU before Venom was taken out of Spidy's universe in one of the post credit scenes was not retconned! I really hope we get to see a Symbiote Spidy in either Brand new day or one of the other 2 movies confirmed for this new spiderman trilogy in the mcu

I'm really hoping that Spidey gets the black suit and uses it over the next 3 movies, Doomstday and Secret Wars, slowly showing the corruption finally culminating in venom for Spider-man 3, Bruce Banner could play the one who tests the symbiote and helps Peter instead of Doctor Connors.
