when Shang chi and his father were fighting they tangle their rings like a rope then the camera points at shang chi for a few seconds and later points at his father for a few seconds. In this particular scene there is more bass to the scene where it shows shang chi but there is less bass when it shows his father. This scene indicates us that shang chi has more power than his father.

Shang Chi also combined the technics of her parents. First he fight(5rings) with the technics of his mother and the rings fly like the wind. Then he get all 10 rings and then let them on his arms and not only flying around. So this Thing with he is the son of both let fight with both technics after he acknowledged -he is my father- and accepted him

Another big detail i found was the shock animation between the rings was different for wenvu and shangchi. For wenvu it was a bit exploded and not in a calm way, like wenvu, for shang chi its was in a calm and focussed way. (I am not very good in english but i assume you get what i meant)

What about when Shang-Chi is sinking in the water just before he meets the dragon. The bubbles hitting him are in the shape of rings, then seems to inhale 'ring' bubbles before he wakes in front of the dragon. Foreshadowing him about to get the rings.
