A Lady of Quality by Frances Hodgson Burnett - Audiobook It should be read by a Brit, or someone who can fake a good British accent. Come on Librivox. You are spending all this time getting people to read, but I dont know how many of us hear a horrible flat American accent reading Sherlock Holmes or something like this and instantly say No way. It can go the other way too. A typical American book like Grace Harlow, being read by someone with a sweet voice, but I dont even know the accent! Cant the director (or whatever you call the person in charge of finding readers) specify an accent I know they are volunteers, bless their hearts, but if Brits are reading American books and Americans are reading British books, then there are readers! Just switch them! And how about getting theater schools to offer extra credit, or a course on reading audiobooks, to get more students aware of this field OK. Rant done.
