I think this was by far an amazing short film. I like how it gave you a real life situation. I actually was sad and when the younger brother was found dead, I started crying. The only thing that I had a slight issue with was the fact that the font was so small that I had to enlarge my screen to read it other than that this is amazing short film! I can definitely see it becoming a Netflix special or Hulu definitely any platform should snatched this up and make one hell of a good movie or series

Short film making at its best, a tense and very human story told completely in 15mins, acting, sound, visuals and direction all really well executed. The ending in particular where he realises that Jamil sacrificed himself for the young girl symbolised by the water bottle being inside the vehicle, great attention to detail, all built upon a well established relationship in the short time the format allows. And as others have said this is deserving of a full length treatment.

Few short films are powerful enough to evoke the emotions of feature films in only 15 minutes, but this is one of them. Relevant, thought provoking, captivating, suspenseful, and heart-wrenching. Damn. That hit hard. It saddens me to think how this is the reality for many humans all over the world at this very moment albeit for other circumstances, but the outcome is the same, running to survive a way out, and losing the one's we love in the process. I wish humanity would write a new story. Well done.

I was thinking about this. so this is supposed to be Africa right So U. S. soldiers fighting white Africans trying to eradicate people Just trying to understand that. Otherwise great acting and effects. : )
