Jojo Rabbit writer/director/star Taika Waititi explained to Ellen that he originally felt like it made no sense for him to play Adolf Hitler in the film, and why it ultimately made sense for him to take on the role. Plus, the newly crowned Oscar winner was joined by the 12-year-old star of the movie, Roman Griffin Davis, who talked about how the movie was his first acting gig, and the two tried to explain what the critically acclaimed movie is about.
