Support Flatlife by purchasing through my Amazon affiliate link Me: Like my XBOX And XBOX 360 video, keep in mind Im limited to how many games I can review. Im aware that Im leaving out popular ones such as Indiana Jones And The Emperor Tomb on the Xbox Mortal Kombat on the Xbox 360 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the Xbox One. But remember, if I dont have the game, I cant review it. It doesnt matter anyway, because I wanted to focus on the console itself. The bottom line, the Xbox One sucked and it was one of the biggest failures of all time, and to celebrate their failure, or just for laughs and giggles, they released a few Xbox Series games, which required both the Original Xbox the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. So, if you happened to own this pile of vomit and this piece of jerk, you can mix the three together. So, you can clearly see the 360 was just not worth it, and gamers were too smart to be suckered in because they know this piece of junk would be abandoned shortly because the Xbox Series X was on its way. Heck, it was already out in Japan, so nobody gave two darns about this beast. It cost about $169. 49 when it first came out, (green words -169. 49 BUCKS! -) and the only people who bought it, they had mechanical problems. (green word -MALFUNCTIONS! -) So, on top of that, there were rumors that it could damage your 360 games, (green words -MESS UP GAMES! -) and I dont even know if that was true or not. The Xbox Series X was released in the U. S. about 6 months later. Only about 40 games (green words -NOT MANY GAMES! -) or maybe less came out for the 360 before it bit the dust! I mean, what kind of marketing was that! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING! And on top of that, Xbox had yet another console planned in between called the Xbox Series S, which was scrapped pretty quickly. All it was going to be was a stand-alone 360, anyway. WHICH IS WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE! So, not only was the Series X on the way, but so was the PlayStation and the Nintendo 64. Gamers knew it was a better idea to just wait, and stores were selling the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for about $1. 00. (green words -1 BUCKS! -) my mama got at a stores for $294. 98 (green number -$$294. 98-) IM DEAD SERIOUS. Now, excuse me, I gotta send this stuff back to the fires of Hell.\r\n

The duke isnt a bad controller. It just was a poor one for the majority of people. But for people with larger hands or those who grew accustomed to its size, it works incredibly well. I think if the Akebono controller was offered as well on launch, the duke wouldnt have been sp hated at the start. Shame hyperkin's build quality is lacking. It's a good controller at heart. But the company needs to up their sturdiness and improve the durability of its components

Honestly I just bought a xbox x controller for my pc after 3 years of using a cheap 5 dollar controller and I love it. I was a bit shocked when I first touched it and realised it had some sort of grip texture but I got used to it in 10 minutes. Great for games like Hollow Knight, MGR, DMC5, Yakuza, GoW. Especially with the new yakuza games right around the corner.

For some reason I have found instances where my Xbox One is on but the controller is not. I don-t know how it turned on, or why it turned on, but it-s weird
But the console is 10 years old so I guess it makes sense (mine isn-t old because I got it 2 or 3 years ago) can someone explain why it turns on by itself?

Hey I have the gears v Xbox One controller and do you know that controller like on the buttons like I mean in between the buttons, like I mean in the middle of the buttons
it has like a yellow, red, green and blue color. I have that one too but that time it's a blue not black

I just wish they did more for the series x controller, like a microphone like playstation did. It feels like they did way too little to try to improve the -new- controller other than add a share button and make the d pad slightly different

Controller S was a great controller but the black and white buttons were the worst buttons on any controller I preferred the placement of the duke controller as the black and white buttons were not raised enough and it was too deep to press
reply

The evolution of the white and black buttons to shoulder buttons I would like at attributes to the Pelican controllers that realized its much better to have them on the shoulders than off to the side in an awkward position.

I switched from PS to Xbox w the 360 controller. The ps controller is made for the hands of a small child, and I-ll always love my time playing ps and ps2 as a child. But as I grew, so did my taste and needs in gaming.

I wore out many S controllers on my climb thru the halo 2 rankings. I bought 3-4 at once of the transperant green and blue ones just so i always had new crisp feeling sticks when id wear a controller down

The only thing I dislike about the Xbox one controller is that it runs on batteries instead of basic wired charging, but the batteries can be recharged to it-s not a big deal
reply

After going from Xbox to a ps5 I can safely say that the Xbox controller is way ahead of PlayStations. So much more comfortable to use
reply

I love how the controller went from being morbidly obese to looking a lot thinner, this is what I call a body transformation
reply

I-m a small to medium hand size, and I never had an issue with the Duke controller.
I was actually sad when they replaced it

reply

Fun fact
You can now connect your PS4/5 controller to your PC.
Edit: he said Microsoft elite not Xbox ---------

reply

xbox does not have a portable console, the only console without a portable console, they are missing out on something
reply

I think the latest version is the most comfortable but i still miss the black and white buttons. Screw the bumpers
reply

The Duke is still my most comfortable controller. My hands get tired of the small size of other controllers
reply

ps5 controller compared to my series x controller, the dualsense feels like a next gen controller, imho
